I had no idea automatic was received so badly. I love it
Dude.... Don Broco puts on one of the best shows on the planet. You would be a Fool to miss them live. 🤷♂️🍻
They are so good live I was shocked
100% saw them in Bristol and it was the best gig I've ever been too. The energy was unreal
The energy is amazing! Plus T Short song as the last song of the night, the vibe is so unreal
I don't get all of the hate towards Automatic. There are a couple songs that fall kinda flat but the first 7 songs are all amazing, I Got Sick is a really cool track and Further is an amazing song. It's no accident that they chose to play multiple songs off of this album for their Royal Albert Hall set.
I think it was a bit of a departure from their origins, bit to me they're a band that like playing together, rather than making music for a scene, which I think really builds a fan base
What this video doesn't mention is (I believe) the reason they have such a massive following is that their live shows are fucking wild, always an excellent atmosphere, always well produced. Oxford rerun after the flood is the sweatiest gig I have ever been to. I don't listen to them much anymore but absolutely will see them live at every opportunity
Automatic is my favorite album that came out from them. Shocking to me that it was so low-rated. Got introduced to them around November and finally gave in to the Broco bug in February. One of my favorite bands ever, love all their music.
The Ally Pally gig with Papa Roach was the most amazing gig I have ever been to! Seeing Don Broco 6 times in 2 years is mad! Bring on December 1st when they’re at Dreamland Margate🤟🏼🤟🏼
i was so lucky when i discovered this band, when they where just before DANCE GAVIN DANCE... THEY CREATED THE PERFECT ATMOSPHERE on that small San Antonio Concert, since then I'm a big fan.
I saw them at their Birmingham march 2023 show and they did not disappoint whatsoever. They brought out their David beckham from the music video on stage and performed it with Jacoby from Papa Roach
i was there too! it was an amazing night honestly
I was there! What a fantastic night
yeah they're so good
Proudly been a fan since Big Fat Smile days. Saw them for the first time at the BBC introducing stage Reading Festival 2011 where Rob started a wall of death. Legends.
I was there too, been nice to see their success since then
I saw them open for Mike Shinoda and I've been a fan ever since!
I've seen Don Broco 5 times now across the UK and even met them, they're such an amazing band and every single show I've seen in person and online has been amazing, I saw them in Ally Pally in 2023 and I cannot lie it was the best show I've ever seen. The boys know how to put on a show and I have loved every album regardless of the reviews. Plus if you ever get to meet them they are some of the loveliest people around and always have time for the fans and are happy to talk about anything and take photos .
they are a band that play best to a crowd rather than on an album - they sound great live and the atmosphere has been awesome at 2 shows ive seen
I like some of their earlier stuff and dont quite get the criticism but they are certainly getting in a good stride now and whilst they take a break for the rest of 2024 to write new material it will be exciting to see what they come up with!
Just seen them on the 17th and man THEY WAS GREAT. i felt bad because here in the states (ohio) nobody knw them. Its sad because i feel like everyone is missing out on an amazing band. So it has been my mission to get as many people hip as possible. I LOVE THIS BAND
yeah so good, and smashed reading last week
They are amazing live. No further comment
First time I saw broco was at their secret set at Reading in 2017, I've never heard a song before going to that set and I left being absolutly blown away and still am a huge fan to date
Was lucky enough to play some shows with them back in the day. Such nice lads. This was back when Tom played bass in a band called Proceed that use to tour with them and then joined Broco when Luke left just before the first album dropped.
love show they just keep going
Been going to every show in the South of England since 2010, they were supporting Yashin at the first gig and at the time they were my favourite band, after that gig I was a big Don Broco boy
Big fan of Don Broco, not just because of the music but the blokes they are and what they're about. They're about having a f*cking good time! they put on an unbelievable live experience in both large and small venues. They're RAH recordings are pretty amazing too
I used to think that once I like a band I need to like all of their songs but they already gave me like 20 songs that I will listen throughout my life and that's more than enough
Wasn't a huge fan of the last album, but they are one of the best live bands around and technology will always be one of my favourite albums
Bruce Willis is such a banger tho ;) glad you enjoyed it
I think the new album is their best (and yes I got into them before that)
Props to you for your video on this! I recently discovered Don Broco and it’s been an absolute blessing
Love Broco. Can't wait to see them at Leeds arena on Thursday with Papa Roach
how was that?
@@JackWebbMusicClub Very sweaty 🤟. From what I remember 🤣
i remember listening to Everybody for the first time when it originally came out! they're now very easily in my top 5 bands, and my greatest hope is to see them live (here's to hoping they come to the us on a tour soon🤞)
Saw them in 2020 and they were awesome! can't wait to go see them again.
This band is a gem! Been following them since november 2014, then a few weeks later they dropped Automatic and I was really excited that I didn't have to wait for new music haha I took a fly from Puerto Rico to see them 3 weeks ago October 18! Craziest adventure in NYC but it was worth every second.
Seeing them for the 2nd time in Los Angeles on October 7th and cannot wait!
not long now
Amazing things was fantastic, a band that gets better with time
deffo!
Great video Jack . Love Don Broco
Thanks so much David!
I'm from more of the 'elitist, pretentious metal-head' crowd you mentioned at the end, but I can't knock a band like Don Broco.
They're just a little bit silly, their music is so good, and it's just infectious. I can't sit still or stop smiling when I hear their music.
Haven't seen them live just yet, but they're at the very top of that list.
This video is so good, keep it up mate
Thanks so much Sam, feel free to share it with your friends ;)
Loved the vid as always! Definitely one I'll be seeing at RnL, they never disappoint live, and their 2021 secret set might just be up there as one of my favourite performances I've seen there
Thanks so much James, feel free to share with you're fellow Don Broco crew.
Anyone else you're think I should cover for R&L '23?
This video was really well put together! Didn't skip a beat!
Thanks so much mate, I put a lot of work into them, and glad people enjoy them
Surprising to me that 'Automatic' was rated so low, its been such a good album for me and its one of my favourites.
It’s absolutely bizarre to me that they have almost disowned the album ‘Priorities’. Basically every song could be a single and has melodies and singalong hooks throughout.
I don’t hate on the newer stuff, and certainly enjoy the big riffs, but all subsequent albums have only had one or two bangers per record: while Priorities is a no-skip affair.
Best.Band.Ever.
So good
Amazing Things is easily AOTY for me for 2021
they were so good at Reading!
I love the album Techbology I can’t believe it was critically “mid”
Enter Shikari next?
I actually already did them in 2019 I warn you it's not that great - czcams.com/video/1DROvbLIf70/video.html
☺️
My band just toured with them in Aus, they’re the nicest guys and SUCH a good live band
Right! Their music is better live in my opinion. A lot of people say that about bands but I mean it. And that's rare for a rock band to play their own songs better live. I can't say enough how much I dig this band.
@@jcbuckeye i could not agree more!! they're unreal!
They smashed it at Reading this year, Wish I saw them in Brissy. You guys must have played next door to my house at the Triffid!
would also love to check out your band
Oh what! we sure did! it was such a good tour! @@JackWebbMusicClub

"Ok Jack Webb, you have my clink".
It passed the test!
Been a fan of Don Broco since the Big Fat Smile days. Even saw them at Reading 2011 which you mentioned in the video. But fell off a bit when Automatic came out. Liked the album, but it didn't click with me. Also really liked Technology but it didn't capture me the same way Priorities and Big Fat Smile did. But it was Amazing Things that really brought me back. It's easily one of my favourite albums, and the 2nd and 3rd albums have really grown on me, and can honestly say they are one of my favourite bands at the moment.
Just saw them on their 2023 tour and they killed it!
love this!
I’m with you. But for me, Priorities was a masterpiece - 12 years on, I’m still singing along and wondering why only one song per set comes from this album.
Don Loco
ha
Bro automatic is SO good though
lol
I’m pretty sure Technology was basically a fuck you to their previous label
