As someone who has been following James Wan’s career since the release of Saw back in 2004, and while all of his films haven’t been profitable or even “good”, I would actually be very happy to see him do Spider-Man. Not only because I think he could bring a new flavour to the character with his fast cutting and stylistic directing style but also because it’s cool to see someone climb through the ranks and follow their career from a “nobody” to an in demand top director.

I actually feel a little awkward about Black Cat being in the movie. Mainly because this version of Peter Parker still feels very young. He’s an adult in real life, and now the character is as well as he’s in college. But it feels different. Like a young adult. Young adults sleep around, but in this movie universe, they seem pretty innocent. It would just feel weird seeing him go from what looks like such childish environments aside from the superhero stuff, to a sexually flirtatious villain/Anti-Hero. I don’t know, maybe if he were taller? lol
And i want the vfx and cgi to be like the ones they did with TASM universe you see the wrinkles in the suit of the 3d model then umm perfect muscles physics like those realistic muscle movements they had in those movies. Now as tom holland has his own homemade suit lets hope they don't mess up the digital aspects which would contribute to bring this movie in the theatres and in our heart.

I hope not the only reason the movies are semi good is because of the fact disney doesnt have them, the idea that these movies are a joint thing between sony and marvel make them not just another generic MCU film and have a distinctness the rest of the marvel films dont have, because if Disney owned it these films would be so damn generic and probably be just Cameo city like he is in the comics because he is the marvel mascot, he'd just be used to prop up other less popular characters like captain marvel or miss marvel, which is also what DC does with batman. There can be some camp and jokes, but I want a serious movie for the most part. That was the best out of 'Spider-Man - No Way Home', people say it was just fanservice, but the best scene of that movie was the loft fight sequence, where we see how vicious a villain can be towards the hero with Green Goblin literally wiping the floor with Spider-Man. They have to keep that up for the next trilogy.

James Wan doing Spider-Man? My favourite current day horror movie director? (Insidious, Saw, The Conjuring, Dead Silence, Night Swim, M3GAN)… Spider-Man 4 is going to be the best if he does the 4th one! But if I have to be honest I’m more curious on how Tom Holland’s spider-man will befriend his old friends again after they forgot about him, if they do. Even though Tom Holland is my least favourite live-action Spider-Man, but he isn’t as bad compared to the Spider-Verse trilogy which I found so far extremely boring and overrated.

I am over Sony, and we all should be! Blackcat in the 4th film? when she literally could have been introduced in the 3rd film. So they will waste so much material for NOTHING!! Venom looks so bad already, the horse? Is the bike scene, the dance with mis chan that was literally in the previous movies the dancing in public being venom!! Recycled jokes...... The comic side of youtube is not pointing out that we have seen what venom can do, and still they giving us another movie they did twice.

I don't think I would like black cat in spiderman 4. I did think it was a good idea at first, but after they confirmed zendaya was returning as mj for the 4th movie, I wouldn't want peter to date black cat while mj played by frickin ZENDAYA is in the background. That doesn't sound right to me. Just save black cat for spiderman 5!
