Your channel is singlehandedly the best air rifle review channel out there. Honestly, the professionalism in everything you do, scripting, cinematography, unbiased reviews...it tops them all. Your effort makes them days when I get back from work shafted, so much easier to get on and shoot after. To get some me time! Invaluable mental tool these vids. Here's to many, many more! Cheers.
A BIG Amen 👍👍👍
Amen
I have shot air rifles for the last 54 years. Had a few in my time but my favorite is my BSA S10 in .22. A friend let me try his BSA R10 in 177, what a gun!!, so accurate you could cleanly shot the nuts of a gnat at 30 yards. Trying to think of an excuse to get one!.
Get one to help reduce the gnat population. Problem solved.
Today i got An r10mk2, it's a beast indeed.
You deserve sponsors my friend. You have earned your following because of your honest unbiased reviews. You do not seem like a man that would let that change.
I have had my trusty .22 HW80 for 44 years it's a bit heavy but still does the job well, great show Andy keep up the good work.
Just entered the 177 fac family with my own purchase of a FX Dreamline bullpup. I could not agree more with you comments of this superb calibre at 18ft/lbs. Love it. Superb and so capable. Great video content. Si
Talking BSA - a few months ago my dad handed me his original BSA Meteor and in its original box too. It even has the small bottle of oil that came with it. It still shoots accurately using the BSA scope it came with after all these years and has an oddly satisfying kick though it is really loud compared to my RM8 carbine.
@Ejuice Vaper When I said original I should have stated that it the first ever released model of that rifle (I think 1959-ish). So considering it's all still as it came and shoots well is saying something. And yes, I agree, shooting with open sites and then moving to scope is a good way of developing accuracy as well as patience.
I can honestly say it is you alone that has both encouraged me to get into air rifles and since watching your videos, I've bought 6.
It's good to see British made rifles still hanging in there with the big boys gr8 reviews keep up the good work 👍
Daystate belongs to the Italians. BSA is owned by the Spanish..
@@arnoldtm31 British made, a bit like Bentley or Rolls Royce(both German owned)
I used to own a BSA. Now, I have an Air Arms TX200 Mk II. walnut, in .22; a Weihrauch HW95L in .22. and I just got an Air Arms S510 XS, regulated, Right Hand, Walnut, ..22. I am in the USA. Just doing my part to support England. Sorry about the Weihrauch and the unmentioned Hatsan 125 Sniper Vortex, also in .22. I have to say, I am really partial to the English-made Air Arms rifles.
British made: I always thought that was make inside the UK. no matter where, or by who, or even who owns the company. um Am I wrong in that understanding?
Bsa, air arms, daystate and others may fly the flag but often have Italian (minelli) stocks and Lothar walther barrels. I believe BSA make their own barrels. I bought Daystate because I thought I was supporting British manufacture. How wrong could I be!
From one independent collector to another, just a great channel buddy. Well done again 😎👍
Just found this channel, it's so nice to see a UK based airgun source that is so down to earth. This is my second video, and I am already subscribed. Looking forward to catching up and viewing new content.
Nice to see Mrs AAR!
Thanks to your channel and a couple of others I acquired my first pcp rifle this month. An avenger in 22cal. with a wood stock. The extra weight makes it easier for me to steady. The vermin in Florida needed another thing to worry about. Thanks for a great channel.
Another brilliant insight to FAC guns, looking forward the the "BSA shootout", that will be worth watching, stay safe.
You do fantastic work Andy! You are one to emulate. Thanks to the Mrs as well.
Absolutely brilliant video and I have to agree that the .177 is the most underrated FAC gun in the bag. 18ftlb is ideal for up to 50m (and beyond on a still day ) with very humane dispatch and accuracy, ideal for enclosed barns and round live stock where collateral damage has to be avoided but longer range/terminal efficiency for the pests is needed. I wonder if the possible slugs being talked about in the caliber will finally materialise as this would most definitely put an end to people tittering quietly about the "lowly" .177. Oh and a note about Spain and the 18ftlb rule, yes thats with out Certificate but all Air Weapons are "in theory" banned from any type of hunting or pest control though as with most things there it is a tad flexibly enforced.
Greatly Appreciate your being open with the integrity of your business and greatly appreciate your candor and ability to work with other supplies and companies to get the most stuff for your customer. Also I wish go could review higher powered guns than 12 ft lbs guns.
Thank you , Mrs. AAR for your participation and for sharing Andy with us . You are both an asset to the airgun community . Cheers from Texas !
Thank you kindly. I’m sure she’s glad to get me from under her feet sometimes. we do try to promote the Airgun community and a sense of enjoyment and safety. stay safe. Andy & Mrs AAR x x
Another fair, balanced and informative review of three great guns. Thanks !
I just ordered the BSA R10 SE in .22 caliber, glad to see its your favorite. Can't wait for mine to arrive in a few days and start shooting!
Andy....keep keeping it real. The unbiased reviews and opinions are well respected and needed in the community
BSA Meteor was my first air rifle, so looking forward to seeing the BSA range!
totally agree with the 18fpe for us non FAC holders. Would eliminate many problems for the fans of .177 calibre. Yet another quality video from you 2. I owned a BSA goldstar SE a couple of years back and I thought that the gun was not very accurate. It turned out it was me not understanding how to shot properly. Watching videos like yours helps me to understand shooting, and therefore I have improved as an air rifle shooter using a sub 12fpe set up. thanks Andy and the misses. 👍
Love your channel, it's by far the best air gun oriented channel in CZcams. I have gotten a lot of good tips from you as a beginner hobbyist and hope to see a lot of new videos from you in the future. I particularly love how responsible you are with the gun safety and thorough you are with the reviews.
Meanwhile I'm focusing on modding my Crosman AK1 (witch I chose from your recomendation) and building my indoors shooting range to my basement.
Keep up the good work!
Good job you two... great team!! Man I love that BSA and now you’ve opened my eyes to .177 again lol. Stay on top, never filtered by persuasion 👊
I have the BSA R10 SE in .177 cal.
I have the right handed Walnut version.
Iam getting 50 shots per fill. It shoots 10.34 gr. JSB around 900 fps.
I absolutely love this rifle. It can still get 820 fps with the JSB 13.43 gr. Monsters.
Thanks brother for your excellent review.
I think the UK should change the laws to at least 30 ft pounds. This would be ideal for most. 177, or. 22 rifles. Or unlimited for Air Rifles.
Put in perspective. A. 22 long rifle powder burner using CCI STINGER bullets gets 190 ft pounds of energy.
Most Air Rifles 30 cal. and under, aren't even half that.
Times have changed. Better laws will only increase sales. God bless you!!!
From the USA!!!👍👍👍😎😎🎯🎯
Personally I agree *but* I can't see this happening in the UK sadly.
In some ways we're lucky to have the 12ft/lb in some countries it's terrible, think in Ireland it's 1 joule!
It's especially ridiculous in the UK though as the way the certificate system works it's technically easier to get a 2+1 semi-automatic shotgun than a 20ft/lb .177!
@@Ryan.90 I agree. What's sad is that the same people that have a problem with the 20ft pound 177cal, have no problem whatsoever shipping in certain individuals far more dangerous to society.
Nice garden setup behind you
Your outdoor sofa area back drop looks stunning!
Wow this channel is like an encyclopedia of air guns. I’m super glad I found you sir.
Agree! I have started my own playlist and don’t trust anyone else really.
Congratulations guys. 👊. I'm an addicted to this show. Appreciate the work you guys do.
Great review Andy and I’m with you on the BSAs. I have an R10 SE (.177) and an Ultramax SE (.22), both are fabulous, mega accurate and I wouldn’t swap them for anything!
Hi Andy, I have to agree with you about the 19ft/lbs, and the R10. I have a .22 R10 SE And it is superb. I did have to change the Regulator for a Huma though. The Scorpion Se is also a fantastic bit of kit. Looking forward to the BSA 'range' test.
Brilliant review, keep up the good work.
Thanks for a wonderful presentation. All the best for the future. Looking forward to all your upcoming reviews. Keep up the great work Andy. Cheers Mate. 🥳🤠
CHEER'S on 50k subscribers!
Great idea to do a BSA lineup review, like you I wonder why so few are covering their excellent products.
Thankyou for another great review!!You and the mrs.stay safe!!
Hello, I am an American viewer and I am often intrigued with how big of a fan of silencers you are, I rarely hear of aftermarket silencers in my area. I personally shoot only Benjamin air rifles with Redfield optics. I appreciate the high quality videos you produce and thoroughly enjoy watching your videos
Great review!! That Wolverine .303 is a beast, way to heavy for hunting. I have a PCP with scope at 6 1/4 lbs in .177 regulated to 120 bar = 840 fps for 10.8 fpe at 40 yards with a 10.5 pellet have taken coyotes, fox and raccoon, shot placement is everything. CCI subsonic 22lr 1070 fps is 90+ fpe @ 50 yards , CCI 960 quiets 22lr 730 fps is 40+ fpe @ 50 yards and quieter than the PCP.. just can’t get excited about the big bore air rifles 🤷🏻♂️. Always looking for new vids from you and the wife. Thanks I’m in the Western U.S. without any regulations on air guns so far OMG they are coming out with 700 + fpe toys.
Great to hear with such clarity Andy during the intro of your past associations with certain businesses and your previous links with them and the new greater focus toward absolute independence. Hopefully all those sending items for you to review in future will be completely aware of this fact. No holds barred reviews are refreshing to say the least. It was lovely to see your wife taking a slightly more prominent role and shooting in the video also. Perhaps it would be particularly nice Andy to properly introduce her to everyone in the next video, instead of people having to refer to her as Mrs AAR! Your video editing was even more slick than usual and seeing the split screens was very modern. I hope at some point that you make the shift to 4k as that's always the way to go. Exciting times for you both no doubt. Keep up the great work.😃
Love your program Andy and I don't even own an airgun... but now I really want to get one again!
You are one of the reasons I got back into air pistols and rifles in 2020.💪🏻🇺🇸
I wish you well, from Northern Ireland, love your work!
Great stuff. I'm looking forward the the BSA range video. Thanks.👍
Another really good video, I have BSA Meteor Evo and am looking at getting something with some more power but I'd love to see a review on a full line-up of BSA's
Thanks Andy, great video as always, I love BSA rifles, albeit I live not far from the factory and it's a British company, the R10 sub 12lb is my dream rifle.
My Gamo Coyote .22 FAC is a my go to rife for accuracy and dispatch - Superb bit of kit
I had the .177 BSA I loved it and regularly took rabbits out to 60-70M cleanly. Mine did prefer the 10.65Gr baracuda match in 4.52mm.
I for one appreciate your honest independent reviews and salute you and have just ordered a BSAr10TH caerbine Black Pepper cant wait
To AAR
I would like to thank you for the lucid reviews you post.
Loving to watch and listen to true reviews without any productmanagemant.
Please do pardon me for my English, since it is not my primary language.
Anyhow, Thanks
Great channel guys well done. Look forward to it each Friday!
Your presentations are excellent. All my guns are magnum break barrels. My favorite , SIG asp20 in .177. A squirrel busting machine. Thanks and keep up the good show.
Honest informative review, thanks Andy, I look forward to the all BSA line up.
Great video and interesting opinion on the .177 FAC. I think it makes for a compelling argument for accuracy and power, so much so I have ordered one for my collection. And very nice shooting by the Mrs's. Wow, she is very steady and calm. That was all wind creating that tell tale spread in her group. Love the show and thanks for the wonderful content.
Andy (and Mrs AAR), thanks for the review. I too think the R10 Mk2 is my all time favourite. Looking forward to a BSA line up. (Also, sitting here in my AAR Fleece!)
BSA R TEN acquired. New to shooting, but your review, helped me decide, Andy. Feels a quality item and I'm looking forward to shooting.
Andy, I know this is late, but your videos are so amazing I honestly would not care if you got any sponsors or money for your work. I know you'd still give great and honest reviews
Good honest review,i went fac a few years ago and never looked back,i went with a .303 hilite, still stunning but way lighter and with the carbon buddy bottle i can eek out 20 decent shots,my regal has 30 ft lbs and also have a airwolf with 40 ftlb,it was a bit of a tank but took off the heavy 500cc buddy bottle and fitted a best fittings 500cc carbon which transformed the rifle to my go to hunting airgun,i also bought a .25 renegade tactical which i ordered with 60 ftlbs, got it delivered just before they brought out the regulated versions which was a bit silly as the regulator would have gave me another 10 shots 🙁 will maybe get it done at some point.keep up the good work Andy👍
I was just going to find out what "FAC" meant, but ended up watching the whole video. It was great!!!! Thanks, Bruh......
I’m fixing to find out too, here in a minute.
Great video as always. Would really love to see the BSA video as i feel they are very under estimated these days. Keep up the awesome work you are a great team.
Without doubt the best Gun Review and Information site in Britain. Equally nice to see you giving BSA a thumbs up as I own a R10TH and my first gun was a BSA Magnum 365 .25 bought in 1987. It is in absolute mint condition but the .177 R10TH is equally amazing. Great channel and keep up the good work.
Great video awesome production as always. Keep up the good work.
Thanks 🙏
Excellent review as usual....keep up with the good work you do Andy ;)
Excellent reviews! Tempting me to invest in a PCP air rifle. I've enjoyed airguns for years, recently got more into firearms, getting the itch to get back into air powered more.
Well done and said to another great information video. Great shooting to her indoors. Keep them coming please. JC
Great video, would really like to see a BSA range review. Keep up the good work!
Informative as always, esp on the FAC .177. Now, a couple of weeks ago you teased us with a forthcoming review of a Kral,.... so KRAL! KRAL! KRAL! : -)
Thank you for staying independent and all the very best for the future 👍
Congratulations on 50K subscribers. Enjoyed the channel from the beginning. I've a Huntsman Regal in .20 to I like the calibre and we to are a good 'team'. Had an early .177 MK 2 R10 but unfortunately it was not very good so it had to go. However, it was and still is a very handsome gun and your review of the thumbhole version was very tempting. My regards to Mrs AAR. Love the channel and appreciate the hard work you both put into it.
What a brilliant video guys. Thanks andy😊👌😃
I agree, I have two sub 12ft lb air rifles. First one I bought was a BSA scorpion se Como in 1.77. Second one was going to be the gun I wanted first, which was a Weihrauch 110 again in 1.77. I have a number of issues with the Weihrauch, loss of power, not cycling and firing. And firing by it's self on safety. The BSA no issues, and it's my go to gun. By the way I use H&N Baracuda Match in the BSA and Bisley Magnum in the Weihrauch. I recently tried Hades. Good hitting power but not very accurate, ok for 15 yeard ratting.
Genuine enthusiast.. Nice collection man! Good videos, very informative, nice demonstrations
QUALITY REVIEWS EVERY TIME.
I love the fact that the Missis had her hands on the BSA! Bet she gets first “dibs” when you guys shoot together! 😊
Excellent channel. I like this guy, looks like a sharp shooting Noel Edmunds.
Great video and very informative, thank you 👏👏👍👍
A great review keep up the good work look forward to the bsa review 👍👍👍
Hi Andy,it's no surprise you have exceeded 50k subscriber's,simply put, AAR is "THE" best Airgun reviewer on CZcams!!
My first FAC was 2006 Air Force Condor, after that 3 Steyr FAC, Sam Yang FAC, Daystate Ranger FAC, PP700 FAC modified.
Wow , great content today Andy . I went through 2 coffees watching 😀 . Had me clued to my i pad .
Very exciting times coming on this fantastic channel 👍 . You have some great fac rifles , but a trifle heavy for me , as Iam disabled. Here's the wonderful thing about our sport , that it can cater to many people. I don't have a bsa rifle , but might have try one now . Great show today ! From the both you . Take care ..... Cheers Simon from York
Try a BSA Ultra Se, my wife loves target shooting, but has arthritis, the Ultra is short, lightweight, very accurate and is a 10 shot pre charge, highly recommended 🏆
KAF Kent thank you for the information, will check it out 👍👍👍
I've not been watching you for long but watching u has got me more jnto shooting always had springers for back garden fun but today I'm buy the hatsan at44 tactical due to your review on the normal hatsan at44-10 big thank you
I always enjoy your videos and so nice to see something on FAC. Would be nice to see you do a Hatsan FAC BT65 review
Smashing reviews as always,thank you.
I come here often because I believe you are very candid and sincere with your reviews.
This is cool! I recently managed to fix my .177 cal Soviet-Era Baikal IZM-38P. Nothing comparible to the stuff featured here, just a break action springer with dovetailed-in iron sights, but can still get pellets moving at a fair clip, around 750fps, (from what I've heard) and does actually have compacity to mount a scope. With a more powerful spring in it, it would probably become a quite viable little gun. I honestly didn't realize they went this beyond, well, toys though. Very interesting!
I too think 18 FPE is fair, we should all start a petition. Also, pistols should be allowed up to 10/12 FPE..
allowing pistols to be 12 ft/lbs would make trappers happy cause they wouldn't have to carry a rifle around
@@bigb5681 I would love to own a pistol at that power! I really enjoy pistols anyway and wish Andy would cover them more.
they could stick a little red dot (or a scope) on it, and BOOM... Much more convenient. I do have a scope on my HW75 but most of the time I prefer irons on pistols, or red dots.
Y'all have FPE limits?
*laughs in airforce Texan *
@@justinmochi7323 yep a 7ft lb air pistol is in the same category as a sawn off shotgun or smg.

Awesome reviews. Hello from across the pond.👍
Congrats on the 50K subs! That's amazing. I was excited to hit 500, lol. It's a testament to the quality of your content. Keep it up!
Well done
Thank you very much for your excellent review. Fabulous as always and extremely informative!
Totally agree about the BSA R-10 it is a cracking rifle it’s accurate and so reliable. I did have the Ultra se in .22 but I traded it in for the R-10 mk2 carbine in .177 after seeing and falling in love with it after a member at our club shooting the R-10 but not the carbine version. So far fingers crossed 🤞 I’ve had no troubles or problems with mine when I used it but sadly I don’t shoot it much any more after leaving the gun range as just got to crazy with so many members and most of the time you had to take turns in 30min sessions on the gun lanes and the club was only open for few hours so didn’t get much shooting in. Shame really as I love shooting rifles. Maybe I should get back into it.
Well done folks, congrats on 50k and all the best for the new venture!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😎
Thank you so much, and thanks for watching. stay safe. Andy & Mrs AAR
You can easily tune up the r10mk2 or SE to around 25ft lbs, slinging jsb exact beast 16 grains to 880 fps. Get a Huma reg. Set it to 150bar. The R10 has a rear hammer guide. Flip it on to the front to act as a hammer weight(or you can machine a small circular weight), crank up the hammer spring and youre done. You can also get a 300cc carbon fiber cylinder from best fittings as well.
Great video as always - Many thanks
In sub 12 I love the. 20 calibre ,its so over looked, I've got two rifles in that calibre and I use them the most, I even shoot hft with one of them, the extra power at distance knocks targets over much better than a. 177.
Neither have extra 'power'. Power is ft/b of energy. so a .20 and a .177 and a .22 and a .25 all running at 12ft/b all have the exact same power. The main differential, especially for HFT, is accuracy. Power as a concept is irrelevant if you cant hit the thing you're aiming at. If you have 50ft/b but you hit the dirt its pointless. Under the UK law - 12ft/b maximum, then the .177 has the highest velocity and therefor the flattest trajectory, which is why almost all HFT/FT shooters use .177
Back in the day I had my share of Weihrauch's, and even a Saxby Palmer bolt action, but my last owned air rifle a BSA Airsporter Stutzen out shot them all. More on BSA for definate please. 👍
Again just great, honest opinions count, which I'm sure is what is given on you're channel...
I would give up airgunning today not tomorrow if i was restricted to sub 12fpe.At any rate, thanks Andy,I enjoy your reviews.
Beautiful rifles......lovely review and kudos to Mrs AAR shooting skills...two thumbs up.
Hi Andy, I love your videos. Very informative. I have bought a couple of air rifles that you have presented in your videos.
I agree 18ftlb would be much better than the present 12ftlb. However I don't believe this would be achievable legally in the UK. As a collector I have had to over look some really nice Rifles because of power outputs exceeding 12ftlbs and the need for FAC. With regards to the BSA R10, this a fantastic Rifle and extremely accurate, one of my favorites too Andy!
Great video, really enjoy all of them, excellent research and information, made clear and understandable. Thank you. 👍
I’ve two slots on my FAC it’s not until the last 2 years I’ve seriously considered putting in for it it was granted 3 months ago until fx and slugs came along my options would of just been a basic 30/40ftlb Theoben or impact but now I’m looking at a .22 fx impact and .22 dreamline both running at different speeds
