I believe it was just a delay in payment. Just saying they didn't get payed makes for a better story tho
The contract probably had some kind of advanced paymet plus so much money for every show held there so not going back is probably not an option to vince since he would prob have to pay millions back which i doubt he would be willing to do. Even if the yearly paymets are coming late or a few mil short the wwe are still making money from the shows even if not as much as originally intended.

Saudi royal family/society is notorious for not paying bills on time. They will keep tempting you back with offers to pay you after you do them a "favor" or two, usually putting them in more debt, and annoying the people who want their money. Then , when they do finally pay you, they will act as if you are ungrateful for the opportunity. And if you confront them about unpaid debts, they will blink and pretend not to know what you are talking about.

TV ratings are based on the average number of people living in a US household. The average in the US is 4 people. So even if 2 went to bed, the number is still counted as 4. My guess is that something started on another channel that drew viewers away. It's usually something like the late NBA game at this time of year.

Troy Kennedy Because giant corporations are well known for always being honest with the public when dealing with a situation that would make the company look like they endanger employees and would also make them an enemy of a nation that is unafraid to brutally murder those who end up on their bad side.
Because the people involved have every reason to lie so they don't look bad. The others can lie for any number of reasons but covering their own butt isn't one of them.
Of course the statements from wrestlers and the company themselves aren't going to be 100% true. As employees (or independent contractors, whatever you want) of the company, they're not going to bad mouth the company or really say anything more than their vague, obscure statements. As far as the company, of course they're not going to come out and say "well, here's the thing- we flew out for this show that a lot of our talent doesn't necessarily agree with, and while they were there, the owner of the company got into a pretty major disagreement with the ruler of the whole country, and that ruler used his power to put our talent in a potentially dangerous situation because he threw a temper tantrum."

The thing I noticed was that Ciampa was still in NXT character by stealing glaces at "Goldie" in that end of the show promo by HHH. He is one of the most consistent characters in wrestling today!
The best thing to come out of the entire Saudi Arabia debacle was that show we got on Friday. I just wish we got that type of show on a weekly basis.

I think the triple threat idea can absolutely work in terms of the Universal Title by having The Fiend (Smackdown) defend against Bobby Lashley (Raw) in his Dominator gimmick which was the whole gamma green eyes he had when facing Finn a while back and speaking of which have Finn the Demon (NXT) as the final member of the Universal triple threat.
NXT is the only show under the WWE brand that doesn't suck.

Here’s an idea for survivor series the matches are preset like which brand it may go against and what type of match it will be. Example Smackdown vs NXT in a singles match. Then smack down and NXT will pick a wrestler to fill that spot from their brand

I just don't think people outside of the major fans care about wrestling anymore. It doesn't matter how much good things happen. I don't think it'll get anymore viewers. We all here know that it could be better and blame Vince. But regardless of what they or aew do, I don't think we will see. Huge jump in viewership again. It would be nice to have people dive back in and enjoy it like everyone did back in the day. But it's just never gonna happen

The only logical thing I can think of for Cody to announce is Title vs Career (potentially under the stipulation that the inner circle be banned from ringside). It just makes sense for Cody to go off and focus exclusively on the business end of AEW and go out to one of the greatest ever in Chris jericho
