It's really interesting the way Mono plays with the palm muting technique: because of the upside down stringing, he uses the fatter sounding thumb on the high notes, and the lighter touch of index and middle on the low strings, and this makes for a big sound across the range. Obviously it depends also on his overall hands' sound, but I'd like to be able to play my bass with reversed strings to see if sounds improve!

Just spent the last 20 min or so trying to figure out one of the funkiest riffs ever at 15:44. Might've got it, but it's hard to tell with Whammy pedal in there. If not for CZcams's slowdown feature, probably wouldn't have gotten it haha! Mono plays it at such a fast and tight speed, it's hard to keep it up at that speed! Sounds super funky! Now I need a Digitech Whammy lol.
