I absolutely love the story of the man winning with the lottery tickets, I have seen it many times before and probably will again but each time I see it I get all teary eyed and grin from ear to ear, it makes me feel so happy when someone who deserves it gets a surprising moment like that.

Pronged collars are not sharp at all. They are not meant to poke. They're meant to pinch. No enough to hurt, just enough to be uncomfortable. I always recommend using 2 leashes when using them. One connected to a harness the other connected to the training collar. Thus, the collar is used to correct the dog with a quick tug not a prolonged pulling on it. And while I'm glad the dog was largely unharmed, but the leash shouldn't have gotten stuck in the first place. Always pay attention to your surrounding especially with your animals.
Kate Day Took my dogs outside to go to the bathroom today. I turned to my right side to see two big light brown dogs (one pit bull and idk the other one) was 600ft (maybe?) From me. They left and didn't approach. How was I feeling when I saw them? Anger. Complete rage for I thought I would have to go into flight or fight mode. I am very protective of my own, and all I could think about was how to kill them quickly.

Two weeks ago, I was driving to work on the road I usually take. Coming to an intersection, I slow down to stop at the red light. The light turns green before I stop completely, so I let off the brakes and cross the boulevard. In a split second I see a speeding delivery van coming to my left with no sign of slowing down. Probably around 45 mph. I'm driving a small sedan. He hits me, I'm probably dead. I step on the gas as hard as I can. The van hits the back of my car so hard it spins out a bit. The guy keeps going about a hundred feet further before stopping. I'm sure my car's back has been ripped apart and is now totaled. I stop at the nearest corner ahead, get out of my vehicle. I look at my car's rear end, expecting the worst... My car was completely INTACT, there was only surface marks like a shopping kart had bumped into it. I could actually erase these marks with my thumb. The guy in the van comes at me to check if I'm ok. I tell him he's lucky I'm fine and won't be making any insurance claim after that accident. He shows me his front bumper, it had the same kind of shopping trolley marks on it. We actually collided, yet, believe it or not, no damage was made. It's just too bad it wasn't recorded, but there was another guy who saw everything and told me it was the other guy who was at fault.
I was riding my motorbike once and a car was speeding through a corner coming right at me in my lane, and he ended up spinning the car and hitting my front fairing but amazingly I stayed on the bike. I ended up telling him if he gave me £300 for a replacement we'll keep the insurance out of it, and he did.
My older brother was driving home with his girlfriend, his friend and his friend's girlfriend. He stopped at a red light. Some guy (he was probably texting) came speeding at the car and T-boned them. Somehow, there were no major injuries to anyone. Officers and others said that they've seen accidents just like that with fatalities. They were extremely lucky.

Attended a dance bar in Edmonton several years ago. Each floor of this building featured a different type of dancing. On the fourth floor was line dancing. Line dancing involves all participants doing the same steps and motion together. This created a form of sympathetic vibration resulting in the building beginning to sway. It swayed so much that motion detectors, fire alarms and the sprinkler system were all set off. Unfortunately no video caught this (not that I know of, anyway).

The Sky Tower in New Zealand gets struck by lightning multiple times on many different occasions. It led to a silly urban myth around my hometown and possibly the rest of Auckland that the Sky Tower was now crooked because how many times it's been hit.
When I was growing up, my cousin’s best friend was hit by lightning three times, in three different places, within two years. Surprisingly, he didn’t seem to suffer any lasting ill effects from it. But no one really wanted to sit next to him on the metal bleachers at football games.
The dog one made reach over and hug my little Dog, I love him so much, I hope I would be able to keep a cool head enough to save him like that lady. I will think of it next time we are in an elevator though, won't let it happen to us. Love to you...Love to all..kitten
More trivia about the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. The man shown walking off the bridge as it twists and turns behind him was the last person on the bridge. He had tried to pull his dog from the car, but the dog was so scared it bit him, so he had to leave his dog and get to safety. The bridge collapsed moments after he made it to solid ground, but the dog stayed in the car, thus losing its life in the tragedy. The bridge was nicknamed Galloping Gurdy. It was replaced by another bridge of similar build which features air vents spanning the distance in both directions to prevent the gale force winds from causing a second incident. That bridge is scary for other reasons and is now accompanied by a second bridge next to it that has a much more modern and less scary look and feel to it. The old bridge handles traffic flowing from Tacoma, while the new bridge, which is also a toll bridge, handles the traffic coming into Tacoma. They had mentioned tearing the old bridge down, but it still stands so we aren’t sure what the plans are.

my thoughts exactly...my heart sank when I saw that!! I would be doing exactly what the lady would of been doing as well and then hug that dog like crazy to comfort it after taking several hours to calm myself down...I say several hours to calm down because I have ADHD and when something happens that scare me I basically go in a frenzy and react without even thinking...sometimes that can be a bad thing depending on the situation...heck I almost panicked when I saw what happened to that dog in the video..I'm so glad it's okay...
Two weeks ago, I was driving to work on the road I usually take. Coming to an intersection, I slow down to stop at the red light. The light turns green before I stop completely, so I let off the brakes and cross the boulevard. In a split second I see a speeding delivery van coming to my left with no sign of slowing down. Probably around 45 mph. I'm driving a small sedan. He hits me, I'm probably dead. I step on the gas as hard as I can. The van hits the back of my car so hard it spins out a bit. The guy keeps going about a hundred feet further before stopping. I'm sure my car's back has been ripped apart and is now totaled. I stop at the nearest corner ahead, get out of my vehicle. I look at my car's rear end, expecting the worst...
My car was completely INTACT, there was only surface marks like a shopping kart had bumped into it. I could actually erase these marks with my thumb. The guy in the van comes at me to check if I'm ok. I tell him he's lucky I'm fine and won't be making any insurance claim after that accident. He shows me his front bumper, it had the same kind of shopping trolley marks on it. We actually collided, yet, believe it or not, no damage was made. It's just too bad it wasn't recorded, but there was another guy who saw everything and told me it was the other guy who was at fault.

I was riding my motorbike once and a car was speeding through a corner coming right at me in my lane, and he ended up spinning the car and hitting my front fairing but amazingly I stayed on the bike.
I ended up telling him if he gave me £300 for a replacement we'll keep the insurance out of it, and he did.
My older brother was driving home with his girlfriend, his friend and his friend's girlfriend. He stopped at a red light. Some guy (he was probably texting) came speeding at the car and T-boned them. Somehow, there were no major injuries to anyone. Officers and others said that they've seen accidents just like that with fatalities. They were extremely lucky.

#6 nearly had me in tears, I can't blame her for being at fault for it since it was merely an unlucky accident with the leash being stuck in the door, but it does serve as a good lesson to probably never risk bringing your dog on a leash into an elevator because just about anything could happen to them through it, especially from their leashes. Line dancing involves all participants doing the same steps and motion together. This created a form of sympathetic vibration resulting in the building beginning to sway. More trivia about the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. The man shown walking off the bridge as it twists and turns behind him was the last person on the bridge. He had tried to pull his dog from the car, but the dog was so scared it bit him, so he had to leave his dog and get to safety. The bridge collapsed moments after he made it to solid ground, but the dog stayed in the car, thus losing its life in the tragedy. The bridge was nicknamed Galloping Gurdy. It was replaced by another bridge of similar build which features air vents spanning the distance in both directions to prevent the gale force winds from causing a second incident. That bridge is scary for other reasons and is now accompanied by a second bridge next to it that has a much more modern and less scary look and feel to it. The old bridge handles traffic flowing from Tacoma, while the new bridge, which is also a toll bridge, handles the traffic coming into Tacoma. They had mentioned tearing the old bridge down, but it still stands so we aren’t sure what the plans are.
