Was just out that way last weekend! Smoke was really good some days and really bad other days. Glad you were able to get out. I like those big black rocks. I could be totally wrong but I believe those rocks are a very old lava flow.. due to all the cinder cones out there.. love the new video Duane! Thankful for the new post.

I think the smoke followed me home - it really kicked my butt for the week (asthma and stuff). I'm really kind of glad I got turned around because I would probably never stop. It was neat to do it! You're right though it is an old lava flow from like 440k years ago! So those rocks kind of look like a flowing "river" - I didn't go down there. Maybe one of these days we'll run into each other during an adventure! Thanks for watching Outdoor Dad!
