I am a member of the church. Tonight I was just having a conversation with another one of our family members church family and we were talking about the differences in church as we know it today versus when we were coming out now I’m going to date myself I am 60+. I came to the realization today that we have been looking at a lot of transition because a lot of the things that are happening right now are driven by emotion this is not news. The problem for is that they are desert babies. Now we have to get back to the Bible. Even if it’s electronic which I think is a mistake in many ways because I wonder if we interact with it in the same way? What I have to tell you that I do like though is when you see the electronic Bible and somebody writing notes in a journal. At least I know they are engaging in with their rules for the road. Remember they used to tell us that the Bible was a roadmap. But we think we know the way I will just drive and drive and drive and drive and be lost and frustrated and sweating and tired before we just go pick up the map! Bishop Jones made a commitment to get us back to the Bible couple Sundays back... not that we weren’t before but I am telling you is fixing to be on a crack at the City of Refuge. Anytime you see a pastor do a course correction and lead the congregation to the Word, prayer, fasting, repentance....BABY....MY GOD!!!
