- Warning! This is a long long video! I am running a 2014 PistenBully 400. It's snow rolling for over an hour. I have had several people wanting a longer video and this one is recorded with a GoPro. The area is 1000 Springs and I am running down into Varmit Camp that is right on the border of Crater Lake National Park. I did not speed the video up, so adjust your playback speed and ignore the audio for a fast action film.
Nice work and tour of the area. Great training tool about the groomer reaction to the snow and weight of tiller. Let’s just say the winch on the Tucker has been exercised too over here.
Great vid !!!❤
Very nice video thank you for the tour, looks like you have some great snow to groom. I'm sure you know your trails and all of the obstacle's that you have to work around but I would suggest grooming with your wing's slightly open as it looked like from your video for most of the time they were fully closed, by doing so you will save a lot of wear and tear on your tracks plus the added width will let your tiller set just a bit more flat not leaving a dish shape. I'm not totally sure about all of these suggestions because video can be very deceptive. For a first use of your GoPro you did great I'd like to see some additional video!
Looks awesome. Quite a bit more scenic than the corn fields of northern Illinois that I grew up riding
Love it man !!!
This is AWESOME! do you use any kind of GPS to coordinate where you are on the trail or just go off the signage and diamond indicators?
Im new to grooming and I'm pretty timid with my blade...so many shallow dirt spots and I dont want to dig to the center of the earth accidentally lol
James are you still making these type of videos?? I have recommended several of your vids to new drivers.
I want this job. I have been plowing snow for 20 years and doing some trails looks more fun.
I would actually pay to do that job
Nice!!! but thrust me, loose the tiller and it's pump. Way better fuel economy and hydrostatics longevity plusss, a propper drag in the back will compress the snow and give you way better snowmobile trails!. Been there, done that!.
It WILL NOT climb a 100% grade.🤦🏼
