Noahs Father and friend were killed in a car crash and Noah was the only one to walk away live. This album is a fuck you to god and the lines in the song "I thought I wanted legacy I thought I wanted fame, I didn't know id lose all my love ones in exchange. and obviously dethrone is a continuation.
I love this song. It always gave Viking folklore vibes. Like sitting around the campfire and telling the story to the next generation. If that makes sense.

The soft painfilled voice is so close to Chester's it's numb hitting the nerves
One of the craziest tracks they've ever released. The mix of seemingly celtic folk and almost gospel-sounding vocals in the end of the track make it truly one of a kind
It makes me so so happy when reactors listen to this song. Heavily underrated. It’s like a tragic, pirate sea shanty. It’s a shame that we’ll never get to hear it live…. 😢

This is such an underrated song. It’s particular so many people may not like it, but i love it. It seems like a folklore song that you hear played around a fire. I love Bad Omens so much, they are so talented and always deliver. I’ll see them live in Milan on February the 11th, can’t wait
This has always been a favorite Bad Omens song for me.
I like that you threw a Chester mention in there. Listen to Bad Omens "Careful What You Wish For." Noah wrote it after Chester passed, and there are a lot of Chester similarities in his screams on that song.
I believe Noah was a song writer and a guitarist for another band back in the early 2000s but they kicked him out and Bad Omens wrote a song Called "Exit Wounds" as a big F you to that Band its a really good metal-core track you guys should check out.

This album has soo many fantastic songs- Running in Circles, Careful What You Wish For, Come Undone, Limits, Dethrone, If I'm There, The Hell I Overcame, Blood, Mercy!! Jeezus I could literally list every single song, but you get the point, lol!
Noah and Jolly (Joakim Karlsson, one of the two guitarists) are the ones writing and producing all their music. These two are geniuses. Thought I’d mention it, because Jolly is incredibly talented as well (they all are). These two live together, too.

Everytime I hear this song and I close my eyes... I see some warriors or kings and queens in medieval times somewhere in Europe or Vikings and battlefields... even the song title has kingdom in it... anyway, this song is a masterpiece!
First time hearing this song. This hits hard. It's gut wrenching in a different way. Instead of an assault approach, Its like Noah makes you feel the emotions he felt during the situation that later became the inspiration.

Thank you so much for reacting to this beautiful song. It was the one that introduced me to Bad Omens and the only one I knew from them before the singles of their latest album. Still one of my favorites. The intro is one of the best things in their whole discography I think. Another great songs from this album are Careful What You Wish For (written after Chester's death) and Mercy (no music video, but probably even better live - uploaded by Sumerian Records). It basically took hold of my brain haha The sound of it is so different imo to their other things, which is fun, but then there’s a lot going on in it and it has fantastic build!! I listen to this album after being familiar with The death of peace of mind. I couldn’t manage to recognize Noah’s voice, I checked like 71916 times that I downloaded the right album I just couldn’t realize it was really them. Even now I have trouble realizing that. But it’s a great song !

Bad Omens is one of the best - I highly recommend digging into their debut album. Broken Youth, The Fountain and Malice are diverse and absolute fucking bangers.
