- When in Phuket visiting an Elephant Sanctuary is high on many visitors' agenda and picking a suitable one can be tricky. Whether it's ethical or not should be high on the priorities when selecting, followed by 'is it going to be fun?', 'will transport be sorted?' etc etc.
We very glad to say that The Green Elephant Sanctuary Park ticks all of the above in the affirmative. We thoroughly enjoyed this experience and would highly recommeend it for your elephant sanctuary experience in Phuket.

Is this the place of which the owner is being accused of assaulting a lady and being racist against local people? It said on the news that the guy is the owner of an elephant park in Phuket and he was wearing a T-shirt of this park.

Yes he assaulting a female doctor from the back, very bad, he only have 1 elephant, and rent other elephants to stay in his park to get more donations from overseas.
yes it is! im enraged after watching the VDO. The swiss guy just came out of nowhere screaming profanity and kicked the lady in the back and threatened to put the lady in jail for trespassing even though she was sitting on the beach! Most of the elephants were rented from other provinces! Calling this place a sanctuary is beyond me 😮
Yes it is but I visit this place for elephants. I pay for elephants. I don't care how he treats women.
@@scandalouskdphi911I visited this place many times and I met with his English speaking Thai employees. The elephants are rescued from different camps. As far as kicking women is concerned I don't care about that. That's his business

Ovaj park je prilagodjen samo turizmu. Nisam sigurno da slonovi su srecni. Mnogo su mirni i nemaju kontakt jedan sa drugim. Postoi ELEPHANT NETURE PARK gde slonovi su slobodni, druze se zajedno i mnogo drugacije se ponasaju.
Nothing bears Elephant nature park but availability is difficult
Where you book? Did they pick you up in the hotel?
Yes they did pick us up from our hostel. Many/most tours like this will do the same!

FYI, The owner of Green Elephant Sanctuary Park Phuket used violence against Thai woman who sat on the beach. Claiming she trespressed his property. Told her to F**k off and look down on Local Thais. In Fact, beaches all over Thailand are public. That Thai woman did nothing wrong. He also said he could kill her by the US laws and would never be charged guilty since she trespassed his property. He is Swiss, Living in Thailand, Thread Thai people with US laws. Thais welcome tourist around the world with our kindness. If you love our country please don't support this Elephant Sanctuary from now on.

About the elephants. Most of elphants in this Sanctuary don't belong to them. This sanctuary legally own just 1 elephant. Others are rent from Thai private sectors. They just do the business by saying they take care of all elephants and asking for donation from Animal lovers. They make 1.3 millon USD a month.

About owning only 1 elephant, it’s all over the news in Thailand right now. Unfortunately those are in Thai. It seems like he is also under investigations for charity fraud, money laundering, forest encroachment, etc.
As he previously claimed that he paid almost 30,000 USD/month for his luxury villa. One could imagine where did money go.
Listen we come here for elephants. We don't care if the owner assaulted or abused anyone. I am paying just for elephants. If he harassed the girls that's none of my business. As far as he is doing betterment for elephants, I along with most tourists don't give a damp about what he said to Thai or American women. As far as your treatment of tourists is concerned, we can see you charge foreigners 4 times more than Thai people in places like national parks, museums and aquariums.

For an authentic experience, have the owner kick you and cuss you out.

- The owner’s resident is built illegally next to the beach
- The owner kicked Thai lady coz he think she was in his property, which is proved she wasn’t
- The owner showed his middle finger from his car’s window when the ambulance van got blocked by his car and asked for his flavour to step aside
- He didn’t help the elephants from their difficulties, he just bought one and rent the other 14 elephants for business
PLS DO NOT SUPPORT GREEN ELEPHANT SANCTUARY (PHUKET). THE OWNER KICKED A THAI WOMAN IN THE BACK & ILLEGALLY RENTS ELEPHANTS FOR HIS BUSINESS.

@@londonmunch-jurutravelsandeats It happened a couple days ago. He actually recorded it himself as he walked toward the steps where a couple of Thai ladies were sitting just to look at the moon. Then he kicked one of them in the back and yelled "Get the Fxxk off" several times. According to the lady who was kicked, she said his wife came after and said "You fxxking bitch sitting on my steps. I could have shot you right now and I wouldn't have to go to jail." Now, owner made an excuse saying that he didn't kick her. It was an accident. He stumbled and his foot happened to touch her back. Well, you can't deny yelling "Get the fxxk off" several times. Also, they found out later that the owner actually built those steps illegally. They went over his property into the public area.
The owner is not ethical. He recently assaulted a Thai woman for sitting on public property near his lavish villa. He kicked her in the back and his wife threatened her life. Look it up!
So sad to hear! Of course we was completely unaware of this kind of character when booking in 2022 and visiting in 2023 😩
Then what. That's his matter. None of our business. We visit these places for the betterment of the elephants. How the owner treats other woman is none of our business
