You should have made clear that all RNA-virus ARE NOT retrovirus. Some do not change their RNA to DNA but rather go directly to a ribosome and replicate there with viral RNA polymerase.
Thank you for helping ppl to make sense of these confusing topics! Your videos are comprehensive without belaboring the point or getting stuck in the weeds. Thanks again!
A wonderful description. Thank you. What I cannot understand, and what is not explained in this video, is how do the individual parts of the virus, as made by the cell, become assembled into what we call a virus?
great explanation of a complex problem. using drawings to simplify the mechanism really helps to understand what is going on.never had you tube videos when i was in school, had to try and figure it out by repetitive readings, and crude paper drawings.yes it was just after dinosaurs died, thats why docs are so much smarter now then then. thanks john
But there is no explanation about replication of other RNA viruses. HIV has a specific replication, but you haven't talked about viruses with + sense RNA and - sense RNA.
OMG! thanx this video really helped! I'm a Clinical Laboratory Science student and I have Virology course this semester, our professor recommended this video to us! she said 'look for Bozeman Viral Replication video it's really great" that's exactly what she said ;) again thanx a lot :*
Well, its been 6 years. Im curious about where you are in your career. I am even more curious if you have kids and if so would you give them the mRNA vaccine? Asking for a friend 🤣
The cold air does make me sick I have tested it many times away from people... When the cold changes the temperature within it causes mucus to form, and once there is a certain amount of mucus, then a cold begins for me. On time, every time. If I keep my internals warm I never get a cold.
When dna of the virus is inside the nucleus but the protine coat is in the cytoplasm do the coat take that same DNA that is inside the nucleus??? Or it will produce their own DNA
Mr. Anderson for 2020
Yes plz
I've already petitioned 12 universities with support from various associations to vote for him.

Can you explain a bit more?
Like the Corona Virus for example..
This guy is better than my teachers at private school!

first line: "Benjamin Franklin was puzzled by things he didn't understand"
thats a given seeing as he didn't understand them.
+theo lloyd-stericker That's not true, one might say: "John was comforted by things he didn't understand, and gave no thought to them"
