    You should have made clear that all RNA-virus ARE NOT retrovirus. Some do not change their RNA to DNA but rather go directly to a ribosome and replicate there with viral RNA polymerase.

    great explanation of a complex problem. using drawings to simplify the mechanism really helps to understand what is going on.never had you tube videos when i was in school, had to try and figure it out by repetitive readings, and crude paper drawings.yes it was just after dinosaurs died, thats why docs are so much smarter now then then.

    But there is no explanation about replication of other RNA viruses. HIV has a specific replication, but you haven't talked about viruses with + sense RNA and - sense RNA.

    The cold air does make me sick I have tested it many times away from people... When the cold changes the temperature within it causes mucus to form, and once there is a certain amount of mucus, then a cold begins for me. On time, every time. If I keep my internals warm I never get a cold.

    When dna of the virus is inside the nucleus but the protine coat is in the cytoplasm do the coat take that same DNA that is inside the nucleus??? Or it will produce their own DNA
