Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee, who is overseeing one of American judicial history’s most politically and socially complex cases, is holding a hearing to possibly decide whether Willis and Wade should be disqualified from further pursuing their indictment. The WITNESS STATED AND ADMITTED FOR THE COURT RECORD AND ANY LAWYER CAN ASK THE CLERK TO GO BACK AND REITERATE THE WITNESS' OWN WORDS.

Unless she was worried that the fbi was following her movements or that she would be the target of card skimming, I do not understand this statement regardless of if it might be what she told him. Instead it sounds to me like she did not want to leave a paper trail that the two of them were in the same place together. So when they were in Belize, she paid for everything. And if they went somewhere and he paid on his card, she would let him pay for everything but refund her portion in cash. I suspect that she paid for the excursions in cash when at Napa. I watched clips later on where she said that this was a private relationship not a secret one. Her behavior here says otherwise. I do not know if he was aware of the previous statements she made about DA's being in romantic office relationships - it doesn't appear so as yet.
Edit: I have one question for Mr. Wade. If he was allowed to repay Fani for his share of the trips, in what form would he have paid it. In cash or check? Given his testimony so far and his character as far as I can judge, I do believe he would have paid with a cheque. She could not have insisted on cash because then he would have asked why. And then what she said about office relationships would have had to come out.

You need to keep in mind that public officials have rules they need to abide by that will not apply to the ordinary citizen.
