argus literally feels weaker when the 40% penetration is gone, or is it just me?

It is. Some heroes can reach above 100 defence. And without pen it becomes harder to deal damage
it definitely feels weaker😕
They did that so that Argus wouldn't get much advantage if he used fleeting time, he had to use penetration items to maximize his damage in the late game.

In my opinion, what they should have done to argus passive is slightly lowering the (150) bonus damage while increasing the armor penetration capability to atleast 50% or perhaps slightly more. This way, argus could inflict more damage to tanky high sustainability heroes like gatot or yu zhong or any tank in general, and slightly reducing his damage to squishy heroes like marksman or mage. Because if they just buffed the amount of bonus damage his passive could inflict, it would increase his damage against tanky enemy and squishy heroes. This would make the squishy heroes like marksman stand no chance when encountering argus. But if its the penetration capability that is being buffed it will, his damage to tanky heroes would increase while his damage to marksman and mage is just the same or only very slightly increased. Correct me if iam wrong
People treating this adjustment as final changes when it's just in testing phase so it's subject to change

His Three slash got replaced
His 2nd skill bleed literally gone now
His ult is 4 secs now (Low cd tho)
The only thing that resembles his previous revamp is his 1st skill and even that got major changes.

Bring back armor penetration by 40%(negotiable) and we’ll call it even.
The 40% penetration is just too heavy of a nerf, u can see how he struggled to kill a ZILONG on lvl 10 both of them

@@V_For_Vendettaedits I don't think he struggled against zilong, moreover argus revamp does more damage with ult than the global damage does without ult so you can't really say he's weaker then it means he's even more in the global version. Anyways I'll be making more gameplay videos for advance server argus so one video doesn't really show the exact difference so look forward to that !
@@ZayedHeroPlays in the video when you were fighting Zilong on LvL 10 it took a while to kill him, for Argus he should have been more easier to kill Zilong, but the damage zilong was taking was too little in my opinion for a lvl 10 Argus

This revamp seemed unnecesary to me, if Moonton only gave global Argus one more second to ult and movement speed on activation he would have been better, he is balanced that way and all his skills work perfectly with the other

The only thing thay makes this adjustment nad is entirely removing 2 of his feature. Instead of removing them the6 should just nerf it. Maybe reducing the defence shred by 20% or make his 2nd skill gain half rage bar when using on non hero. I hope they readjust it back.
The ultimate nerf isn't that bad because it slightly weakened the speed of regen but the value remains the same.

TBH i think the changes now is actually more beneficial considering he can last longer in fights and in terms of penetration just buy malefic roar like any other attack speed heroes and this changes help him in the early game to be able to stand up and fight

Original server Argus doesnt have to build penetration so you get an extra item slot while this Argus always has to buy malefic. A lot of heroes have defense reduction. (Dyroth, silvanna, even zilong!) They can just reduce the defence ignoring to 30 or 25% not just completely remove it! This adjustment is stupid.
@@Ardiluc they want argus players to focus right targets,not stand stll in a 8 seconds ultimate trying to kill yu zhong,ruby or terizla.
If they ain't bringing back the 40% ignore deff at least give him attack speed buff during ult😓

2019 argus main here , I think argus is ruined... they removed his passive Regen on tower meaning he can't split push anymore and also most heroes don't do damage to argus on his ult and might not be able to unlock the phase 2 of argus ult making the phase 2 of his ult feels useless , it's also rare to unlock phase 2 of his ult players can just stop hitting argus and run away and come back for 5 seconds
Cant say much now, if this came to live servers then I'll find a way to Bang the Enemies

Spamming penetration would be just unfair, given how easily he can trigger his passive. If even Dyrroth and all the marksmen have to buy penetration, Argus should as well.
Without 40% def ignore, argus malice boost is meaningless.

I don't get why people say he's worse than original server. His 2nd skill and ult are far better. The only downside is the nerf to his passive, which will force him to buy malefic roar against tanks...just like, you know, literally everyone else!

Nah, he's really easy to adapt tbh, I played advance server too and on original server I have more than 2000 matches on Argus, the new one is not hard to adapted to~

Because that effect was removed as a nerf
Even after biggest nerf, Argus still viable with his spammable passive but with natural rage regen removal, double regen rage on hit mark removal, penetration removal and critical rage bonus nerf make him more reliable on ult instead being spam on his normal basic attack
yes but now you will play only from the ult, and each ult can last 60 seconds after the battle... this is a big nerf, before they said that he is nothing without the ult, now everyone will say that without the ult he is the bottom!
@@Marksman45y that why his ult cd is shorter now. That is if your health didnt reach 0 during the pre immortal state of his ult. His ult CD will be halved.
At least let Argus have a penetration on his passive of 15% 🤡

i think the nerf kinda to much.. they can just lower the passive pen to 20% and since the skill 2 passive just can be works if you hit a hero, you have to reduce the cooldown, if you don't hit a hero, so that the clear wave isn't too bad, or if not, reduce the cooldown of the 2nd skills

Despite the nerfs, this revamped version is still better than og server version AND DEFINITELY BETTER THAN THE PREVIOUS REVAMP.
People don't get that moonton tends to overbuff then overnerf heroes that is under experimental changes. They stress tests heroes. Some nerfs probably gonna get reverted like the 2nd skill only activating on heroes but the rest of the nerfs we're kinda justified his pen only need to be decrease, the regen and cd nerf is justified definitely.
I can definitely see this Argus going offmeta. Powerful but not Op, Viable but not a must pick.

If you want trigger 8 seconds immortal, you must ult on early engagement or try to dive in crowd/turret with full health, with this you have chance to trigger more than 4 seconds immortal
More ult reliable for sure but his damage is very "burst" so he will literally nuke anyone that is not a tank.💀
