8 cores won't last as long as 10 cores. i saw the 10900k beating the 11900k in warzone in another video. Why are these benchmarks showing the opposite results in different videos?
Probably depends on the settings and system. You can milk a lot by tweaking it all. Some people probably deliberately tip results towards one
Out of interest, I assume the 3800mhz DDR4 kit was run with XMP on. Does this mean for the 11900K it was running in Gear 2? Or did you run the kit at a lower speed so that you could keep it at Gear 1?
Great video! What voltage did you need to achieve 5.2ghz all core on the 10900K?
Do you have a 10900k? I can only reach 5.1 GHz stable with a 360 aio. I have a feeling people claiming 5.2 and above aren't testing for true stability. There are some golden chips out there, but 5.2 stable definitely isn't common.
@@maulcs Hi I have an i9 10900KF with an MSI Z490 Tomahawk. I have an NH-D15S. I haven't overclocked besides selecting Game Boost in the BIOS, which I believe sets the CPU Voltage to 1.35V and now I get 5.4GHZ on a single core.
I've come from a 4C/4T 3.75Ghz so am blown away with performance! I probably won't overclock now
@@maulcs Just a quick update, I've managed to overclock to 5.2GHZ all core with a CPU Voltage of 1.32v, hope that helps:)
@@AppleUK2000 Have you ran any tests for stability? You should be using something like Intel Burn Test on very high, and the RealBench stress test while looking for Windows Hardware Errors at the bottom of HWinfo.

Managed but it probably isn’t stable
Is PCIe 4.0 the differentiating factor? Rerunning with a 2080 Ti might be helpful. Also, since Of Results vary, can you set both to 5.2 GHz?
What's the point? The only significance to upgrading to PCI-E 4.0 is the storage speed. The 2080 Ti will perform about the same on gen 3 speeds, maybe at a loss from 1 - 4 fps
А почему при тесте процессоров почти всегда игры в разрешении FHD? Неужели так трудно убрать нагрузку на видеокарту используя HD и отключая всякие сглаживания? Результат более достоверный получиться... oder..?
Did these tests have resizable bar enabled?
Do you have in 4k gaming?
Can you do Vega 11 vs UHD 750?
we need brand new 8C/16T on the newest architecture on sub $150 already.
I will say this. It's a breath of fresh air seeing Intel use a brand new architecture. Just wish they went with 10nm as planned, since this new design was built around the smaller process. So it's no wonder 11th gen has such small gains. Hopefully 12th gen will bring better performance, but only time will tell.
And as a side note, the 11900k is selling for $1100 on Amazon currently. More than double the launch MSRP of the 10900k, with 2 less cores and 4 less threads. Wtf is Intel thinking? My stock 5600x was $299 MSRP and sometimes beat out an overclocked 10900k. So to charge so much for marginally better performance with fewer cores is rather funny and embarrassing.
Hi, i have core i9 11900k, rog strix 3080 oc, asus rog strix z590-e gaming, 32gb ram, 850w gold and my fps in warzone in verdansk max-160/ min-110, can you ask why or do you have any ideas?
The fact that the 10900K is $409 and widely available makes me feel like Intel is going for the mastermind plays releasing this product. It's a 9900KS for gamers, creatives it may be a different story but man... 10850K for $330 or 10900KF for $370 its pretty much a flip our old flagships into value chips that go up against Ryzen 5000 in performance per dollar
Those power draws!
