@@DiamanteBox Thank you so much!
Please how do I get started
Though I am not yoruba
That’s fine. Send an email to yorubalessons@gmail.com and I’ll let you know all the information for getting started
Are there any tips for speaking? Living in the uk now but raised in Naija turns out I used more English than yoruba at home. And I was only taught English in Nigerian school and not my native. All I know to speak is accepting errands etc not full conversations. I can understand but I can’t speak. What can I do? There’s no one to practice witj
I’m not perfect in yoruba cause I’m learning as well. I’m also Nigerian and if you need an exchange partner I can help. Cause I need one too😂
Yes, like suggested below, it's finding someone you can practice with!
@@temiajala4535 that would be brilliant. How do you want to connect? I’m fully native so maybe I can help a little more the speaking is just the hard part
Me too. I was born in Nigeria but I currently live in the uk and I'm also not fluent in yoruba like i can't have full conversations in yoruba
@@seyio4325 hello... how is your lessons going... I'm Yoruba and I speak it very well, we can converse on IG if it will help you further
I can sing in Yoruba sometimes cause I find it easier to learn lyrics but it’s way harder to speak it
This is true!
Where can I find a Yoruba dictionary?
We sell some on our website; yorubalessons.com/product/a-dictionary-of-the-yoruba-language/
Your website doesn't seem to be working?
Hello. CAN you confirm what part isn’t working? It seems to fine for me.
Went to the website and tried to see if I could purchase a course but was unable to. I am interested in learning Yoruba. Please help.
Hello! Unfortunately we’re having issues with the courses at the moment. But we’re hoping to resolve them within the next few weeks
🇿🇦🇿🇦
I am yoruba and my parents always speak it to me but the only problem is i have like no confidence and my yoruba has been falling further and further behind the rest of my family. i'm scared they'll mock me or laugh at me or tell me my yoruba isnt good. cause they've done that before, they always force me to speak it and then i
get even more nervous and start stuttering and speaking quietly, i wish i could speak yoruba properly
Don’t worry! Don’t be discouraged. People will probably laugh a lot at first but once you get there, it’ll be fine. You have to ignore them and push through. Confidence is also key?
TEACH ME
How much do you charge for tutoring, I'm very interested.

I do. Please contact yorubalessons@gmajl.com
I have tried to find someone and they will say yes BUT when they find out i am from Jamaica they change. I will learn when i go to Nigeria i guess.
Why do they change?
I’m 15 and my parents never taught me like I don’t speak a word and I really want to learn and I feel like it’s to late :/
It’s not too late at all. I have people in their 50s learning! You have alll the time to learn! It’s great you started so young
@@DiamanteBox thank u sm I’m considering asking for a tutor!😁
