    Thanks Mona, just a question, when you put the safety pin on underside of dupatta does it passes through hair or no? and similarly the 2 bobby pins passing through safety pin AND hair? right? also can you please please show us exact same easy way of making this bun that you have made for bride in this video? I want to learn a super easy and neat looking exactly like this one. It hides under the dupatta anyway but the updo looks neat through dupatta. Thanks much!!!

    this is so so helpful Mona! My sister got married a year ago and her Chunni was falling 20 min after the artist finished and left. I was stuck with helping her pin it and keeping it up. I wish I had seen this then!! certainly will keep the screw pin and the crossing of the u pins in mind for when it's my turn

    Hi, I'm from america and I'm very European will you please explain to me why/what is the importance of the nose ring connected to the hair?

    • @kanchanvitore
      @kanchanvitore Před 5 lety

      The ring in nose is just an ornament which is a part of traditional jewellery in some of the parts in india. As its quite heavy and mostly just pressed and worn (not with piercing), it is attached with a chain that is tucked in the hair or sometimes to the earring. It enhances the look and also manages some of the weight.

    You guys did a good job. Is there anyway to not puncture the chunni and still have it be secure? Also, can you do a video on different ways to do your chunni (non-bridal)? :)

    • @keepingupwithmona
      @keepingupwithmona  Před 9 lety +2

      For bridal you have to go through the dupatta, which isn't a problem when the dupatta is net material. You can avoid puncturing it too but I don't think it would be very secure. Thanks for the non bridal chunni suggestion, will look into it :)

    Bridal dubata is quite heavy but this dubata is not really heavy.. Kind show technique about heavy dubata setting. This is not really difficult because it has no weight
