If Nigeria police, Military and all law enforcement agencies do not fight to bring corrupt politicians to book? They all should be rest assured that their pensions or retirement benefits will never be guaranteed. And they will all suffer and leave unsecured future for their families. The Police should realize that they are more powerful than politicians whenever and wherever they stand to uphold the law.

The one that hurts me the most is illegal mining. How can this be going on?
That's why we should immediately decentralize our economic system. Let Rivers State retain 100% of their resource revenue. It will force other states to explore and develop their own resources. In this way, Nigeria will have more than one significant commodity in the world market. Having more than one vital commodity on the spot market will diversify Nigeria's economy, rescue Nigeria from dependence on petroleum, raise the value of our currency, create economic opportunities, and rescue Nigeria from descent into insecurity and chaos.
Instead, Tinubu is calling a conference on terrorism.
Crimes and Insecurity are symptoms hardship and lack of economic opportunities. And Tinubu is treating symptoms.

Former governor Yahaya Bello have robbed Kogi State sore throughout his 8 years. Governors like Yahaya Bello are the reasons the Dollar appreciates and the Naria deprecites because more than have the states monthly allocation including the 13%, oil derivatives and the billions generated by the State board of internal revenue find their way to bureau de change. The only major confluence roads that runs through Lokoja are in deplorable conditions even as half the state and LGA work force were removed immediately he was sworn into office and the remnant LGA staffs were being paid 10%,, 20% and 30% throughout his 8 years tenure? For a man who was given governorship position on a plata of gold on the event of the demise of late Audu Abubakar who died a little while before election results was announced. Instead of giving Faleke, late Audu's running mate, Bello used Aisha Buhari his school mate to manipulate justice to assume a position he didn't campaign, support or voted for. Bello had the opportunity of being grateful to God in doing good for the state but turned out to be monster who came to swallow up Kogi State Commonwealth to build an empire in his covetous greed.

      your regional government
Nnamdi Azikiwe Corruption Investigation 6 Aug 1956 Africa Continental Bank ACB
      British bank in Nigeria
...Zik used his new power to transfer $5,600,000 in government funds into a hitherto modest native bank, the African Continental. The catch was that the African Continental Bank had been founded by Zik himself, and, although he had resigned as a director upon becoming Premier, he and an organization called Zik Enterprises Ltd. still held 28,000 shares in it. A few months after the transfer of government funds, some of the bank’s directors (who include Zik’s father and cousin) quietly agreed to make Zik lifetime chairman of the board.
“My Humble Advice.” These novel banking practices aroused no public comment until three months ago, when Zik, “aghast at public reports of corruption” in his government, fired an old crony from a cushy government job. The old crony, E. R. Eyo, is both an ex-convict and a member of the Eastern Region’s House of Assembly. Out for vengeance, Eyo rose in the House to blurt out about the government funds in Zik’s bank. The Speaker of the House ruled him out of order on a technicality. British Governor Sir Clement Pleass was not so easily silenced, asked for a commission of inquiry.

Foster-Sutton Tribunal was established in 1956, and it investigated Nnamdi Azikiwe, the Premier of the Eastern Region, for the corrupt act of being involved in the business of African Continental Bank (ACB). The code of conduct for ministers stated that all government officials are to opt out of private business as they assume the public service.
The Tribunal reached a conclusion that Azikwe failed to disconnect himself from ACB, when he eventually assume office as a federal minister. In the opinion, and findings of the Tribunal, Azikwe used his power to strengthen the interest of the Bank.
Azikwe, and his company were principal shareholders at African Continental Bank. ACB gave out a huge loan above £163,000 to Zik Group of Companies, for a drastically low interest. Wonderful, the company is at liberty not to pay until 1971.
And officer of the colonial government once said “Were a UK minister to be involved in a series of transactions the result of which public funds were used to support an otherwise shaky institution in which he was directly interested, he would be forced to leave public life.”
Sir Clement Pleass, a former Governor of the Eastern Region is on record to have said “The exercise of public power for private profit is established in the East of Nigeria.” “A number of sensible people realized that Zik had done harm in the East in the last two years, but the mass of the people, ignorant and uneducated, voted him back to power.”
Tossed towards him, Zik, after the findings of the Tribunal, were options to either resign, or a fresh election should be conducted. Azikwe chose the latter. And in the ignorance of what has happened the masses choose their 'rumored' messiah, Zik.
He also observed that “The aim of the colonial government was not to establish a standard of honesty in public life. Only time and education can do that.” Sir Clement himself was not a saint.😂

      south West region
In the year 1962*, the Coker Commission investigated the first premier of the Western Region, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, of graft. And was found guilty. The Western Region Marketing Board which had £6.2 million, had to exist on overdrafts amounting to over £2.5 million, by May 1962*. National Investment and Properties Co., Ltd. received a loan of £6.7 million for infrastructural development. Only £500,000 was ever re-paid to the Marketing Board. Loans amounting to millions of pounds were also received by Western Region Finance Corporation and the West Nigeria Development Corporation and they were never re-paid.The finding of the Coker Commission was that Awolowo was behind all the atrocities done at Western Region Marketing Board, and Awo “without a doubt has failed to adhere to the standards of conduct which are required for persons holding such a post.”
