Sandwiched between community development, runner performance, chat/ donation involvement, precise commentary, and overall viewer engagement this might be the GOAT for GDQ.
Carcinogen's RE2 no-hit run has gotta be up there with it; RE runs are always on top it seems

It's also double Garrador on Hardcore. Also the Knight was not beheaded on that one kick because the kick happened too late after the flashbang and so the flashbang hit the knight before the kick did, putting it in a different state.
This was SOOO much fun to watch! GDQ at it's finest.

I'm playing through assisted right now for some challenges. Maybe there is only one on this difficulty.
I think he got mistaken this room with separate ways
Because in adas campaign there is a room that only has 1 garrador in assisted to hardcore but in professional there is 2
yeah i was just replaying this section a couple hours ago before making this comment. i had to fight both on standard. maybe they just forgot cause they dont play standard as much LOL.

The whole run was awesome all around. Runner, couch, crowd, donations! Above all, the host was amazing and his vendor impersonation was more than on point!
Sorry if this is a kind of softball question, but besides any new glitches that were introduced in the remake, are there large routing differences between this and the 2005 original? Are the overal times similar at all or is one drastically shorter than the other?
RE4 remake is in many party a very different game than the original. Sure, the overall story beats are the same, but it is, as the name says, a remake. Comparing the speedruns is basically comparing apples with oranges. Take it with a grain of salt, since I haven't seen an original RE4 speedrun in some time, but I highly doubt you can take a lot from the og to the remake. Comparing times on the speedrun website: Seems like the original is about 20 minutes faster on normal difficulty than the remake.
@@bischiboschi7335 To add to what you said, it's also important to keep in mind that the OG run's been run well over the course of a decade, so it's more optimized. You never know what crazy stuff they'll find in a few years and that could make this run half the length of the OG.
Comparing the runs is still an apples and oranges case, I just thought I'd add to that lol

1:05:54 I would swear there's always 2 garradores in that room at all difficultys, I did an assisted run yesterday to get an achievment and there were still two of them (Maybe he means that only one unicorn horn is required, my bad)

It's a shame they removed the super punishing Krauser QTE events dying 20 times in a row was my favorite part

So if you pause the game, you can move the scope to get a headshot when you unpause?
No, you can't move when paused. Pausing makes it easier to get a headshot because when you pause you can clearly see if the shot will hit/what adjustments you need to make. Then unpause and shoot/aim.
At least that's how I understood it.

What does RNG mean?
Its the random elements in the game, rng stands for random number generator. It came along because items and enemies in alot of games use a dice roll to determine drops and attack patterns

I love the speed strats in this game but I DO gotta say I hate the pause-aiming tech. I understand how necessary it is due to the unpredictability of enemy animations in this game but god does it ever ruin the viewing experience.
