    As a industrial design student. I completely relate to the situation in design school. However the thing which surprised me is that this challenge of feedbacks is still something which a professional designer struggles with. At least at some level. You have been my teacher for anything and everything related to transportation design since years now. And I would really like to thank you for all of it.

    Design feedback on CZcams is not feedback. The only feedback I'm concerned with are the people who buy the products/ cars I design.

    I had a project focused on an aerodynamic vehicle where we had an „aerodynamics expert“ give us feedback (this was a long time ago). When I asked him what he thought the only input he gave me was „I don’t think the Color is effective“ which was a valid criticism of my project, but I thought was rather odd feedback about my Aerodynamik approach.

    hi berk, i didnt see the original postings, sry - but here i like 3 the moste. has a balanced dynamic attitude, esp. also in the backend . the most sleek back of all 3. convincing that you put the red lights in :) also from all 3 backs, the nr3 lifts the weight up, nr 1and 2 have some rear diffusor that makes the weight heavier. cant wait to see rear and frontview

    Could you please do another episode that dives deeper into your freelance design strategy? I'm starting to freelance myself and would love to get some more tips from someone as experienced as you! (Definitely not calling you old 😅)

      Sure, I'm thinking about that. Hopefully in 2024 I will touch to that topic more often. (haha, I'm getting old right... :P )

    Sir ,I would like to know how much time you should give yourself for developing a personal project (to integrate to my portfolio) before applying to design schools . Also can I ask you for some feedback if possible. Thank you sir.

    • @BerkKaplanDesigner
      @BerkKaplanDesigner  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Well, it depends on many factors. I would say give as much time as you can! :) Portfolio is important while applying to schools or jobs. I have some videos about portfolios on the channel, please check them out :) For the feedback, I'm quite busy but for after this month, you can book a call with me here: www.berkkaplan.com/courses/liveclass

    Just believe yourselves, no need to care anyone who does not understand your design. Remember to stand firm and do not look back, success is not far away.

    Even Im working on my porsche project. I will be sharing it soon. For me also the 911 thing bugged me a lot. I have done maybe more than 15 to 20 side view sketches with different proportions leading to different segments. and I agree there are different segments of porsche also. Those different segments can also be taken as an example for proportions.

    This type of thing is exactly why I'm setting up my own design brand instead of working under others. I need complete creative freedom.

    Hi Berk.
    Do your courses also have subtitles in different languages?
    And are your tut still 100% compatible with Blender 4.0?

    • @BerkKaplanDesigner
      @BerkKaplanDesigner  Před 8 měsíci

      Hi! No, unfortunatelly I didn't prepare subtitles in my courses. In Blender 4.0 there are some interface differences but the modelling and rendering processes are the same. And I didn't hear any complain about that so far :) so yes, they are not super "fresh" but they are compatible!
