fun run, but.. this makes me grateful for all the runs where the audio isnt screwed up. my ears are full of flipendo

I thought first 3 games order of phoenix and half blood prince were the best games in the series andthe movies I thought the first 3 movies goblet of fire half blood prince and deathly hallows 1 and 2 were the best

I have the PS2 version and I quite liked it.
wecameasandys I used to play that version 2 I used to like to explore the castle
BlueDiamond I would love to use emulators for a variety of old systems, but for me the main problem has been how sketchy many of even the most popular emulator sites are.
In some places I'll see a particular site or resource highly recommended, but then in another I'll find multiple people sadly confirming that the downloads on the very same site are packed with viruses.
I wish there was a "clean," reliable source for emulator stuff, as I'd love to play so many out-of-print games, but the sites involved just seem to be highly, highly questionable.
Been using emuparadise for many many years on the same system and never had a dodgy file.

I played this game in 2002 when I was 8 and never could solve the Slytherin escape part. I was so disappointed I uninstalled and 10 years later I saw a random video with Harry just running through there. I got so annoyed I rage-played the game the same day no sleep no peace :D
Jesus, that's exactly my story.
I got stuck on the Spongify Challenge and didn't play it for a while. When I eventually got the motivation to finish it, my brother lost the disk.
I got super scared and had my dad play that part for me.

So surprised to see the PC version! People only seem to know the PS2 version but I grew up with the PC Harry Potter games, 1, 2, 3 and Quidditch World Cup.

I played this game religiously as a child, It surprises me how not bad it is nowadays. The ps2 version is pretty good as well.

Watching my childhood favourite get torn to shreds is oddly satisfying. Reminds me of when I used to fiddle around with Debug mode and fly out of bounds on every map to get a good look at everything.
I loved playing the PS2 version as a kid, glad to see this run :)

why DO they do that?
ShiroShishi They do it so they can have that title card at the beginning that shows up for two seconds.
+ShiroShishi Basically, they upload raw footage during the event for those who can't watch live. Then a few weeks later they take them down, edit them to add the title cards, time stamps, etc, and reupload.
FrankiePeanuts If you can't watch it live then you can watch the twitch vods..... it's not hard to find the timestamps. I always find them just by googling sgdq timestamps, and a reddit page always comes up with them.
The biggest reason for the reuploads is because some of the raw uploads have screwed up audio. Of course, in this run's case, the audio is still screwey, so we might actually get a third upload of it.
Really hope the DDR spell lesson comes up this summer

Hey, i don't know if he played em all, cause i think that Harry Potter 1 (for Gameboy Color) and Harry Potter 2 (for GBA) are amazing games. They are classic J-RPG style, and i still enjoy them today.

You probably have figured it out by now, but in case you haven't you can actually play the pc version on newer computers. I played it on a windows 10 laptop, but had to run it on windows xp under the compatibility issues tab

That's the PS1 version. There are to my knowledge three different major versions (5 if you count the GBC and GBA versions), each completely different. I know this because I own and have beaten all 3. ;)

You are correct. In the PC-version, there are only cutscenes similar to the movie. The first time you control Harry is when Ron is caught in the Whomping Willow.
