I'm a bass player my guitar has brought one over the other night first day he got it, plugged into a 4-12 cab and I jumped up in the air it sounded like a jubilee I've played with plenty of jubilees and I swear to God I thought it was a real jubilee!
Sounds really great, very good emulations of these tube amps! I might check it out and replace some of my tube amps with the Amp1 ;-) I loved your Jam-session at the Guitar-Summit and enjoyed your playing and your sound a lot!
Are the Clean Vintage & Classic the same as the original Amp1 or are they re-voiced? It sounds incredible. I'm going to get one and I'm trying to decide whether wait for the Mercury or get the original.
Philippe Gilson that’s also my question, I am a current user of amp1 and am satisfied with it. Still, I still wanna know the differences / the comparisons of them
Beim GT100 musste man wieder in Menues rein, Modus anpassen, lautstärken anpassen. Es war grausam. Ist aber Geschmackssache. Nita Strauß spielt mit dem GT1000 Gigs. XD.
in a live band situation ,can you run a speakercabinet and p.a. via blubox at the same time ?? or you must choose between connecting to a speackercabinet or the p.a. via blubox?
@@BluGuitar Would it be helpful to use the AMP1 with something like the BOSS Waza Tube Expander for the different cabinet sounds to match with the different "Amps" in the AMP1? Was thinking since the AMP1 needs "cabinets" unless you just use the built in IR.
Great product! But the separate foot controller for this product is Huge! I would really like to see you reduce its size and make it as great for travel as the Amp 1. You now have a fierce competition in the Milkman, The Amp (made in the USA, with great features! Why did you decide to have your Amp 1 produced in China??).
Not really , the Milkman is a single channel amp,,non of the additional features of the amp1 ie noise gate,,and chinese made for cost the milkman is way more ;)
@@BluGuitar What I mean for the second part of my question is that can the amp still get loud without having to plug into a cabinet? For example if you just use the amp itself, no cabinet with your guitar plugged straight into it, can it still get as loud as you want to be?
@@michaelbalance98 If there is no cabinet, there is no Sound, because there is no builtin Speakers. If you plug out of the Recording OUT into the Mixer, the signal is the same like with a load. The Amplification of the Signal depends on the P.A. behind the Mixer. Give a hotter Signal to the Mixer to create a more realistic feeling of compression. For more Options ad the BluBox. the Switch for 3 different sensitivities you can choose between headroom or compression. And don´t forget the builtin Power-Soak. Many Options for leveling the Signal.
napalmhardcore cane off sounding worse than i meant it. He is a pretty good player but doesnt have any name recognition. Jennifer batten is the only real name he has. He needs to recruit some heavy hitters to get his gear in the face of more people.
Ah, I see. Yeah, it could be helpful for a big name to endorse the AMP 1. Seeing how he's confident enough to A/B the product against traditional tube amps, it's a case of getting one in the hands of someone that uses one of the amps that the AMP 1 recreates well.
He is a rock guy, and I see he uses quite a lot of hard rock/metal’ish players. I find thats a petty, would love to see blues, ish guy play ir - Josh Smith, Kirk Fletcher, Joey Landrets kind of players to demo it. They search for a different type of tone, that a lot of people really like (The great strat/tele sounds). Mostly I see players who can play 100.000 notes in a minute to demo it, and always heavy distorted. It makes no sense to me, and does not show any kind of musicality. So think I follow you....
I put my tone in your hands Thomas Blug!!!!! So amazing the amount of work you put in.
Amazing amp! Thank you for your efforts!
My pleasure 😇 greetings 🖖 Thomas
This will be a staple amp for our band, for sure

I believe I nailed Marshall Tones… since I grew up with them …
Enjoy!

... ziemlich großartig - freue mich drauf ihn mal zu testen ... vielleicht muss ich ein Topteil verkaufen ... :)
When are the New mercury Amp 1 going to be available at stores or from you ?
Hammergeiles Teil 😮 muß ich mal testen. 🤘
Super! Freu mich drauf!
ist die Blaue Gitarre im Hintergrund die ESP
Congratulation it's the best
Thanks a lot, Michael!
All time every edition of amp1s are great!!
but why Thomas has Alex's Silent Force ESP guitar??
Yes 👍 that’s that guitar!!!! And I love it!!!

They've been re-voiced, I believe
What differs visually the original Amp1 from the Mercury ?
Philippe Gilson that’s also my question, I am a current user of amp1 and am satisfied with it. Still, I still wanna know the differences / the comparisons of them
He describes exactly what the differences are in this video, and in numerous other interviews and product overview videos here on CZcams.
Wow
Thanks!
good stuff :)

you can run a cable out of the blubox into your cabinet and run them both at the same time.
What is active on the pedal board?
welche Pickups sind in der ESP
Is there any other difference other than the modern channel?
The Reverb got improved as well.
How to visually distinguish the Classic and the Mercury ?
There's a MERCURY EDITION writing below the fan on the back of the unit.
@@BluGuitar Danke !
This is completely ridiculous. I think I have to buy the Mercury.
You won't regret it, David ;) And let us know how you like it!

Release date?
This is great but is a Kemper more versatile
Any modeler is more versatile! That is the nature of modeling. If you go analog the tone feels different, but the versatility becomes the problem…
Wa-wa-what? Really? Guite amazin i must say.
If only there was a way to press that footswitch without taking your hand off the guitar...
It took me 5 years to get it...imma lil slo

Is it possible to play through this amplifier without having to plug it into a cabinet? And is it still loud while doing so?
Yes, it´s possible to use the AMP1 without a load. Can you dicribe the second Part of your Question again. Maybe I do not understand it correctly.

Are these made in Europe? That would be cool. China? Pass
We had first production in Germany, then moved to China. Currently very happy with the quality of production, but let’s see what the future brings…
He should really hire a guitar player to do the demo's
I sincerely hope that is sarcasm.
