When I have undid my hair, after how long should I wait before relaxing it? Do I have to wash it first before relaxing, if so after how many days after undoing my hair do I wash it and after how many days of washing do I relax?

After undoing your hair. Wash it and get a protein treatment, then wait a week to get your relaxer retouch.

Hey, does anyone know what causes burning quickly when the relaxer is being applied?
The only thing I can suspect so far is scratching my scalp a lot. I am currently focusing on treating my scalp but I’m not sure. I remembered that burning was one reason that made me convert to being a natural babe back in the days.

An itchy and flaky scalp is definitely a recipe for burning while getting a relaxer. I added tea tree to my oils and it significantly improved the health of my scalp. I stopped flaking and I stopped burning while getting a retouch.

Scratching your scalp is definitely going to result in relaxer burns. The areas which you scratch create tiny cuts which the relaxer then penetrates and then results in burns. Treating your scalp is definitely the way to go as you are addressing the cause of the itching. Also consider basing your scalp with a Petroleum based product(Vaseline or hair food) a day before relaxing.
