      Hey bro, he said that all COH is insoluble unless got NO SPA. Then why is barium hydroxide soluble?

    • @MrAprolsmatic
      @MrAprolsmatic  Před 3 lety +83

      Hi bro, this is a general statement which is easier for SPM students to understand. Barium hydroxide is a special case,which is soluble, my bad for not mention that in the video. As you move to higher level, you will learn that there are few more special hydroxide which is soluble such as Strontium hydroxide, ammonium hydroxide and etc.
      Thanks for your comment.

    I rarely feel the need to comment, only two minutes in, but this video is not only transcending itself as a good referenceful guide to my syllabus, but also a video where the teacher speaks with eloquence and confidence because of his clear grasp of the subject matter and translate it into concepts whereby the viewers can hold it deeper and understand it. Maybe it's because I sped it up that I find it more informative per sentence he said, regardless, I thank you for your work.
    I am only Form 5 but I have not seen a teacher of the like of yours, tuition or school you have achieved hegemony. Thank you.

    I'll be honest, I was hesitant to study using this video due to how long its duration is compared to other videos. Initially, I wanted this to be as background noise while I revised the chapter on my own. Yet, not even 20 minutes in, I willingly turned my full attention to the board due to how informative and simple your way of explaining concepts/mnemonics are. Thank you, sir!

    • @MrAprolsmatic

    Teacher, if I want to obtain soluble salt, can I use double decomposition method?
    For example I want to obtain Copper 2chloride.
    CuSO4 + CaCl2 - - - - - - - > CuCl2 + CaSO4
    I just throw away the CaSO4 precipitate by filtration and then lastly I got Copper2 chloride solution.
