This is beautiful but knotting my own hair at the root is problematic. You can’t get that out unless you know something we don’t. Unless it’s meant to be locks or something permanent. I would love to see how this is taken down and you still have a strand of hair.

I would suggests plaiting three strand on the root (using your own hair). Two strand on the shaft (own natural hair) and securing the ends with curls (extensions). Healthier for the hair and it should last a while.

I did this style on my 2 girls, I retouched it last weekend at 6 weeks, I shampoo their hair every 3 weeks and use hair serum to oil their scalp twice a week.
