I enjoy you videos. I appreciate them being in English. I studied French in high school and college for many years but have never been in a situation in middle USA where I could use my knowledge. After 50 years I am so rusty. Breaks my heart as French is such a lovely language. I watch for the sailing but I am reading your close caption and chipping much rust off of my French vocabulary skills. Your boat too is the perfect size.

wow really? its strange, I never sailed and have almost no idea about the details of it but I saw people do it on TV when I was a little kid.. funny how some obvious things are a new thing to another person and vice versa. you stop learnin, you stop livin. :)

Sailing and trail running, no wonder I love this channel, I really like when you’re becalmed, you don’t instantly go to the motor, some channels never tack into the wind, they just motor in.
Thanks. Well some days i would love to motor in, but my engine isn't powerful enough, with more than 15kts, I barely make way, above 20kts, I go backward haha. But in general I like the idea of having to adapt to the wind and the sea

Was a great watch, your feet to tiller is inspirational jaja what was your night like too noisy or ok? I used to live in Corralejo, decided to learn to sail there so now I left and bought a cheap sail boat and plan is to do something like you and take her down from the UK, French canal route and pitch up near Lobos and surf the morning right hander! Then maybe onto the Caribbean, that's the dream still learning to sail though jaja nice videos, merci bogus !

I did go to Tenerife, but not this Marina. I was there in january, but I am so late in the editing of the videos.... :$. But I really loved Tenerife, the landscapes and the carnaval of course :)

What do you do when you aren't sailing? It seems like you notice & enjoy the need to feel the hard ground as you run across it & the buoyant water while in your boat. That connection on the surface of the earth. How often do you sail? I'm a new subscriber. Thank you for sharing. I like the drone & the music, your good looks, nice boat. Would you prefer to travel with a woman or alone?

hey frenchman, i been watching your videos which i consider quite interesting and i really enjoy you handle yourself, very impressive you can speak and talk 3 languages (maybe more)? anyways i have noticed when you stop at a city or an island you dont mingle or socialize, is that normal for sail boaters or you just don't like to make new friends.. anyhow wish you the best on your adventures. saludos desde florida
Hey, thanks a lot. Don't be mistaken, travelling by boat allows you to meet bunch of new ppl, on boats and on land, but it has been really hard for me to have my camera around and film new ppl. I find it kind of intrusive, and it took me a while to be able to take my camera when more ppl are around. But you will start to see more faces in the coming episodes. Especially my new Spanish friends who are hilarious :D

Merci beaucoup. Oui, le pilote est un EV100, il marche vraiment bien, meme si j'ai deja du le renvoyer une fois en garantie, en meme temps je lui fais bouffer des milliers de miles...
Pour un steadycam je suis d'accord, mais pour l'instant je n'ai pas trouve une bonne option d'un engin comme ca qui soit etanche et relativement bon marche, affaire a suivre :)

Hey, thanks a lot. What do you mean by "dial in some smoothing" is it something that can be changed in the parameters of the drone? I have an old phantom3 standard, do you think I can do this on it? It's falling apart, don't think it's gonna leave much longer anyway...
The Sailing Frenchman indeed. Just google whatever drone you’re using and you’ll find setup videos to make things smooth, so it softens your inputs from the controls. “Cinematic” is one of the key words to also use. Keep up the solo sailing. Great stuff!!!!
