Hmmm ... I didn't know this video existed until now. I've only ever known the original UK version. This one is tragic. Professionally put together, yes. But the band look like they were forced into uncomfortable jollyness. Miki, in particular, had a number of 'pop-vixen' poses that obviously didn't sit well with her. Perhaps it was all ironic and they were acting ... but I think this video has the heavy-handed touch of money men involved.
Does this band have a good biography? I want to know what the fuck happened. I know one guy committed suicide, then the band basically fell apart and nobody did anything of the same size again. Did Miki just get fed up with it all and retreat to a "normal" life? Are these people married with kids now? What's going on? So much sadness associated with this band of good times past.
The 90's were so damn happy.... I miss you.....
