These are growing on me, like the colors and the kinda retro look. As someone who got into sneakers right after the whole flyknit/lunar trend, will be interesting to see if the fashion cycle loops around and they become trendy again.

Little cool story gem, these derive from the original lunar racer from 2009 which was designed by Tinker Hatfield the designer of Air Jordans 3-14. I wore these for races and marathons back then way before the super carbon plated shoes nowadays. It’s cool to see these resurface back in the market now as a lifestyle shoe.

I wore the LunarGlide+ (1st version) for five marathons(including most training runs too) if I remember correct, each being a record run for me. I didn't mind the midsole giving out. It had just perfectly conformed to the bottom of my feet. Don't recommend using running shoes for that long though.
Shifting my collection to every day sneakers and this is perfect. Really missed out on these on the drop

It’s been a month and couples days since I’ve got these, been wearing them almost everyday. I thought the same thing about the Lunarlon being stiff but I promise, they’ll get so much more comfortable with wear. They’re now more plush but still stable. I can’t wait for future pairs.

Fall in love with these first time I saw them. I rock them and first thing I noticed is the lightness. They remind me the feeling on feet I used to have with the old lunar racer and flyknit… but those are more solid compare to the old ones who were so slim, kind of an « summer shoe only ».
The colorway is perfect, kind of a Yeezy wave runner feel here. Love them. Great review as usual ❤

I really love them and got a pair before the release day . Yea they run slightly roomy on the toe box like you mentioned on your review but I’m ok with that . Definitely one favorite lasts pickups of 2023 .

copped on goat and they came from Taiwan, love the look and feels like a nice throwback, very slept on model!
I still have a pair of (Flyknit Chukka) sitting on my shoe shelf in good condition.I love that era!
In the 2010’s era I never gave them a chance because I was into adidas and other running shoes for that is what I primarily used sneakers for at that time. But when the flyknit racers debuted I was all in. I still have a worn pair that I was able to cop while visiting in Vietnam by one of my wife’s family friends that worked in one of Nike’s factories. I might just give these a try if they go on sale.

Glad u reviewed these. Didn’t realize they’re perceived as not in style. Then again I’m relatively new and not into chunky shoes. I’m one of the few that likes the colorway 😂

I still hunt the secondary market for Lunar Chukkas. Still love the look and comfort. I basically default to them when travelling. Just destroyed a wonderful 2014 pair on holiday in Thailand.😊

Half a size down is the way to go for these. Appreciate the tips. Would be a disaster getting these with the wrong sizing.

This colorway would look so good on the Vomero 5! Looking from a distance, this pair does remind me of the Vomeros actually, especially the lateral side panels

Man if Nike bring back the FK Racer and Trainer! I have a pair of deadstock Flyknit trainer and I really would like to have a few pairs as back-ups. They were the Pinnacle of casual footwear.
Love'm! Something different. Bought directly. For running i prefere the Pegasus, for for a noce day 2 day sneaker. I love'm. I have a sort of 'click' in my right shoe of the material around the swoosh, doe not realy bother me, but it's a little bit annoying. Love the look on feet!

I know this is a bit out there but do you know how the foam feels compared to something like a modern 860?
I have a wide foot and wear the exact same sizes as you. The 9.5 was just too narrow on the arch.
These shoes ain't bad. As a matter affect it's one of the better shoes that came out in the past few months. I don't have them but I'm kinda hoping I can find them in the outlet. 💖

Hey Sean, I’m a size 8.5 in am1 and am97 but size 9 in am95. What size should I get in these?
8 or 8.5 depending on if you ever have to size down to an 8 (in air force 1s or new balance miusa as examples)

Absolutely mental but cool how running shoes are becoming the hype beast trend. These look awesome but they’re meant for running. This model looks like a sprinter shoe so it will feel stable, a little stiff and bouncy. These won’t feel plush or comfortable on for 8-12 hours being worn though. This color way goes hard. 🔥
