Im thinking he likely burned more fuel than the truck consumed beginning of the race - end of the race, too? (Just saying) it seems like the truck did all of the, work. He just pizzed away more resources (and footage) than the truck will allow. When his rods go sailing through the block after just a handful of passes dey gon be like; "cash me ousside, how bout dah!!?" He will be piston broke, "again", & still cant figure out, why?

I have a buddy who used to build circle track motors. 800 horse. When he would put engines built much the same way in street/strip cars he would do a 400 shot of nitrous. He had a high 8 second camaro set up like that. That one had a 1050 dominator carb and a th400 with a reversed manual valve body. You could stomp on it and it would get wheel deep into into third gear without nitrous. If you staged and warmed up the slicks, you would yank the front end set off car alarms

I guess a lot of uninitiated people don't realize how little nitrous costs in comparison to getting this sick truck to the strip. A few extra purges to make extra sure all lines are full, or just dropping bottle pressure after warming cost nothing in comparison to everything it took to get here and to go that fast.
That hooked up good! Most guys spraying 700. It's so violent it won't stick if it's really a 700 horsepower shot. I've sprayed a 525 shot and the little motor was barking like a dog.
What I would really like to see is a fully prepped quarter-mile track. Heads-up racing unlimited class anything goes and the elapsed time numbers on the board!
Always scares me on the track when it looks like wet pavement or ice when you’re about to go as fast as you can . It freaks me out every time. Look at that track.
