Great video 👍
Thanks 👍
Hey Pete, can you make more instructional videos on the Boeing 767 and Boeing 757(study series). I feel like that would be great for your channel. There’s not a lot of Boeing 757 Pilots/Content creators out there, and we would really appreciate it if you taught about the distinct systems and capabilities on it.
Noted! Will try to do more of that !
I have windblow Dexter... Is Pilot Pete single?
Always happy to see a new Pete vid on Sundays. Have a great week Pete! :)
Thanks, you too!
Have you ever flown the MD-11? I saw a couple of them in the background in MEM. They look like they would be a wild flying experience.
Never have, only Jumpseated on it
I am continuously amazed when I see you doing the outside aircraft. It's the law, but many people don't do it. Your professionalism and your discipline is exemplary. I'm leaving tomorrow to Poland, my mom is not well.
Safe flight
Unfortunately, Chicago weather is just unpredictable. I was in Chicago a week ago and I had received a notification of a Tornado Warning. Got a lot of rain when that storm hit, luckily saw no tornadoes. Great aviation content Pete, keep up the great work!!
I hope maintenance replaced the break pads?
Pilot Pete - i always look forward to your videos. I love pilot videos because I wanted to be one when I was younger. Your vids are just more laid back and chill and not so much about how you look or your body. All good, really enjoy following you
Appreciate the kind message!
Non-Negotiable.....my wife and I say it all the time. You are an influencer!!
Hahah let’s go! 💪🏻
Pete ever get any Boise trips? Also, how often does it happen you are on repeat planes? Like one trip you are on “James” and a year later you are on it again? Thanks man! 😄
Haven’t flown to BOI in a long time. Happens a good amount, flying the same plane more than once
We’ve got a great trail system for some killer runs, try to remember this comment if you get scheduled and I’d love to take ya up💪🏼
Pilot Pete you are a doll!
You are informative and engaging! Love it. ❤
Try Bain BBQ next time you have a layover in Memphis
Always fun to come along with you Pete. As you mentioned..sometimes diverting to your alternate is a necessary inconvenience. But safety first! At least you didn’t have to hold for an hour while that line of wx slowly marched eastward. Glad you made it back to NYC that night.
Thanks, yeah it was a longggg day
That blue sky... The best!
I hope you had a great trip and that's a nice view of the city. Have a great week
thanks! you too!
Love this vid and your awesome work Pete. Making it real. Love it
thanks so much!
Loving the vlogs!
Thanks so much, appreciate the support !
Iam surprised Fedex allows you to video on the ramp.
I literally just got off of a flight fron Denver, CO. That mountain air had the plane rocking so badly. A 3 hours flight with almost 2 hours of fighting the air. The pilots did a great job getting us to some smooth air for the the duration of the flight. We were on a 737-700.
yep, it def happens. glad you made it safely
Loved the video!!!! Thanks for all sharing!!!!!!!☀️🙏☀️🙏
Glad you enjoyed it!
Not sure if you know. But at the 10:20 mark on your vnav descent page .78/290 is in big letters already. Someone already imput that in there, which is denoted by the Econ in L5. So there is no need to imput it again.
Haha yep I did that. But wanted to show it, so did it again. Great catch!
Smart man FedEx yes sir. Don't have to deal anyone. Boxes don't talk & yell. Your mom & dad I'm sure are so proud!❤❤❤
They are, thanks for watching!
just found ya, love your content. glad you made it back to new york...excited to start following you.
Ayyy, appreciate ya watching! Welcome aboard!
Haha😅 You made me laugh. Yes, you were here in Chicago. So, yes, I saw the replica of Grumman aircraft there. Nice. Yes, Well, being my former base here in Chicago I would always walk through our United crew line here in Terminal 1 in casual business style clothing but with my crew IDs hung around my neck even when going on vacation. Haha, then I would run to the Starbucks to get my coffee.😊 I never brought liquid before trying to go through security!!😅 That one Starbucks by the employee security is soo close there. Crazy!! Starbucks has money no matter what!😅😅😅
Yes, there were a few hotels free. Me and my former crew use to have free breakfast at the Sherry Frontenac in Miami. Yes, Lufthansa and British Airways would layover there as well. But the Hyatt, Marriott, Doubletree and Hilton gave us airline discounts for meals general by just show our ID. Along with the Radisson Hotels as well. And I had my hotel points memberships already before flying so, I continued to get my points with Hyatt and Hilton Hotels. For me, having flying out to Los Angeles and San Diego a lot, I always need a car to see family and friends so, I would rent a car and park particularly when staying in Los Angeles at the Hilton Hotel and get my points from park. Yes, I use to always presented my hotel membership when checking in to get my points in general from eating and the bar at many hotels that I use to layover. Yes, I said the "bar"! ☺ Smile
Finally, yes, here in Chicago we had bad weather fly past us today Monday 5/20 and yesterday Sunday. Glad you made the last flight home.😊
Great video, Pete! Thanks for talking about the mountain waves. As a meteorologist at an ARTCC, your explanation was very interesting. I wondered how quickly the up and down motions occurred. When the opportunity presents itself, I'd be interested in more about your perspective on turbulence and icing. I work at an ARTCC with a lot of cargo flights. The joke when I first arrived was that cargo flights don't provide many PIREPs because "boxes don't complain!" 😂
So cool! Haha they sure don’t. Noted, I’ll do my best to incorporate weather more!
You’re plane videos are so funny and I love it every time
Do I need to fetch you if you will be here Pilot Pete? You are single right? Pilot Pete.... SoS!
You must have the ladies knocking on your door in every state.
Thanks for keeping the skies safe!
Thanks for watching!
Hey Pilot Pete this was a great video I truly enjoyed this travel I have not seen ELP in many years kind of fun to see it once again.Great flying as always glad you made that late last flight into NYC take care❤❤😊😊😊😊
Thanks for watching!
Working on getting out of the muggle line 😂and into the pilot line✈️
😂😂
Watching you shave got me thinking, do you know if KCM would let you through with a saftey razor or straight razor? Personally I prefer to wet shave than use electric or disposable or the cartidges.
There are certain rules, all on their website, I’m not 100% versed in all of them. I’d have to look
Explain this three minute cold shower madness! 🥶
Hardest part of my day. Accomplish that first thing, I already won the day, no matter what happens!
Love the content keep up the good work
appreciate it!
You were at our ramp on that diversion. Greetings from FedEx MSP Ramp!
Hey!! Thank to the MSP team for helping us out!
That oatmeal and blueberry combo is elite!
Elite breakfast for an elite pilot 😉
17:40 the way that guy looked back at you when you screamed “woooooo” 😂😂😂
Haha I laughed at that too
Pete, those airport diagrams on your apartment wall, where can I get some?
I make them! PilotPeteFly.com
@@pilotpetefly Thanks I’ll hit you up over on the website about some custom ones. Thanks for the great vids, me and my wife love watching them! Safe flying
Hey Pete, do they tow the aircraft into the parking position on the ramp at OAK?
Some parking spots they do, yep!
Yes sir! Muggle can’t take any yogurts pass the TSA 😅
Haha confirmed 😊
All these people in the chat who are drooling over Pete in the chat are creepy.
How soon will you be Captain?
Not sure !
Maybe I missed it but are you getting paid by your airlines to fly to el paso , hotel room? Always plan for the unexpected . This was an interesting video Great job bud!
Yep, deadhead flight and hotel paid for
you hunk you!
Do you get to fly the 757 too?
I haven’t, only the 767
It’s called a pick axe
I brought yogurt in as an airlines ramp worker they said it’s over the limit got to eat it or throw it out . Argue it’s breakfast but unfortunately nope no entry
Such a bs rule in my opinion
Totally agree , I was in uniform at the time but they said take this to the port and higher ups for TSA we don’t make the rules 🙃
How tall are you?
6'4
Pete, do you like flying at night?
I dont mind night flying. just dont like redeye flights
Pete, I’m a new Irish subscriber and older Irish gay man here and you are an absolutely gorgeous and handsome young man - have you ever had the chance to visit my native Ireland yet, such as Dublin? - I’ve lived in the U.K. (Manchester) 23 years but I still have extended family in Ireland and I try to visit them as often as I can 🇮🇪☘️🇮🇪❤️❤️❤️❤️
flown into Dublin a few times!
I think Pete likes girls bro
Do you take your pilot shirt off during the flight?? And how often do you do that???
I did yep. Anything over 2 hours I usually take it off
here for the shirtless photos of the pilot
MSP best airport in North America
Haha that confirmed?
Have you ever kick your passengers off the plane for not obeying the rules?
I have before yep
First.

I am offend you call us peasants. 😅
Hahah I am one as well 😔
How’s that dress code going 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Great!
I watched 30 secs. Glad I didn't waste another 25 minutes on this vlog. Boring.
Thanks for watching :30 seconds🙏🏻
Hi Pete! I'm curious why many 767 freighters generally don't have winglets. Don't they improve fuel economy, and are useful? Love the blogs, new fan!
None off ours do. The reason (so I was told) was because without winglets the company could squeeze more 767s into the gates. But I wish they had them, they look cooler when they do!
