Suki & Eve. Their Story - Chapter 9 - Anyone Else Wanna Say Anything?

This main part of chapter 9 starts with Eve coming back on 20th December 2023 and goes right through Christmas and into the new year.
As it was ongoing after Christmas it seemed a bit disjointed and it wasn't clear where things were going. As we were meandering through January, there was no obvious start/end to the filming block, just a few SukEve scenes amongst a lot more of scenes of Suki with Nish (why? Now that she's left him, why?) and with The Six. Eve would be in an episode if we were lucky, we were even luckier to see her with Suki.
There were some very important scenes during this chapter for Suki, both in The Vic with Eve and also elsewhere with her family and the friend Barminder who appeared from nowhere and who has now disappeared again. The latter non SukEve scenes of course not being in here as they aren't SukEve scenes. Overall the period is important for Suki personally.
Because of that, I decided to end this chapter on a scene which is extremely important for Suki but that Eve isn't in. I felt that it was a powerful represention of the end of a certain period of Suki's life and that thereafter she is free to forward being in love and happy with Eve. Or maybe not.... who knows! As I write this, the spoilers have just come out for the end of February and some worrying things are in there so who knows where chapter 10 will take Suki and Eve.
This chapter is interlaced with some voiceovers. In the first half Eve explaining what happened to her when she was attacked by Nish and then kidnapped nearly killed by Ravi. The second part is Suki talking to Nish, telling her story and telling him some hometruths. In the middle I've added a poignant scene where Suki tells her grandson about her and Eve. Some of the things she says are vital to understanding how she feels and why she has acted as she has for so long. There's also a cheeky little clip at the end from Suki's The Six playlist.

(By the way, the audio is out of sync with the pictures in the scene by the Bap Van when Suki and Eve are talking about the gurdwara. Every time I check it on the iPlayer it's the same. I did consider trying to fix it myself but it might have made it worse so I left it).

My take on the Eastenders Suki and Eve love story.
So..... I've condensed all the SukEve scenes into about 15 seconds. Some are a bit longer as I just couldn't cut certain things out and/or I like them too much. There may also be the odd scene with either Suki and Eve with other characters for context.
Chapter 1 is from their very first meeting until the Kiss Slap scene (October 2021 to June 2022). Chapter 2 Part 1 is from after the aftermath of the Kiss Slap through to the reopening of Walford East (July 2022 to September 2022).
Chapter 2 Part 2 is from Suki wandering around The Square until the Hallowe'en thwarted reunion (September 2022 to October 2022).
Chapter 3 is from Eve looking out for Suki in November through to the grapes scene (November 2022 to January 2023).
Chapter 4 is from their first scene together after the grapes rejection through to when Suki seeks Eve out despite having renewed her wedding vows (February 2023 to March 2023).
Chapter 5 is the affair era, from the aftermath of the vow renewal to them getting back together again following their falling out over how to get rid of Nish (March and April 2023).
Chapter 6 Part 1 is from Coronation celebrations to Suki in hospital after falling down the stairs (May and June 2023).
Chapter 6 Part 2 is from Suki being released from hospital to glances across The Vic in the aftermath of their breakup (June 2023).
Chapter 7 is the period around Eve's struggles about her sister Erica and in the week before, her first contact with Suki for two months (August 2023).
Chapter 8 Part 1 is Suki and Eve and the rainbow kimonos (November 2023).
Chapter 9 Prequel is Suki trying to work out where Eve is and negotiating through her life with Nish at the same time (November and December 2023).
Chapter 9 is from Eve coming back to Suki slapping Nish with the divorce papers (December 2023 and January 2024).
