Can't speak on the Syntakt as I have never used that device, but in my opinion it is far superior to the Circuit Tracks. Granted the Circuit is about half the price of the Play, but I find myself inspired by and having endless amounts more fun with the Play.
You forgot the Deluge, which the Play is clearly a carbon copy of. Still great bang for the buck if you dont need a built in synth engine and the sampling capabilities of the Deluge (and want a larger display 😅).

For what purpose? Where's the context? You haven't established it in this clip. Why are you rubbing your chin in confusion when many, many people are telling you that this video doesn't make sense?

Deluge knock Off. Everything is inferior to the Deluge. Both those options are meh.
Respect your opinion but the play is has some very unique resampling features for starters - your point is somewhat valid though.
