Don't get me wrong. I love this game, it's definitely one of my favourites of all time, but I don't find the game scary, I found it more stressful than anything haha.
Honestly this game gave me a slight bit of anxiety whenever im in or near a vent in games i keep preparing myself for a xenomorphs to show it's self even though im not even playing alien isolation or anything like it
You're running around or walking, not paying attention to vent locations, burning through Flamethrower fuel which angers him and makes him a guaranteed return to try and find you. Yeah he's gonna hunt you

The Xenomorph doesn't hate you, it wants you to help with the feeding of its babies. It wants that a lot.

I remember I played this game so much that I would hear the save station when I would try to sleep, same with R6S I would hear footsteps above me.
You have no idea what terror is until you played this shit in VR.
