I remember attending this festival specificifically November 22, 2008. I was 8 years old back then my memories are so clear and everything. seeing this video gives me chill I just wish covid will be over before this year's Higantes festival comes. For the others, the giants here do have a huge significance on our people's culture and survival during the colonialism era. They use Higantes to hide from Spaniards. Lucban's HIgantes are just for the colors and stuff, but Angono's Higantes had a deeper meaning.
hi dheckrizza, sorry for the late reply. i can give you the number of balaw balaw, they do have higantes for hire. they provide the higantes in the Philippine centennial celebration a few years ago. this is the same balaw balaw restaurant which is famous for exotic food. Hello po pede ko po ba malaman kung ano ung backgorund song?? kelangan po kasi namin sa presentation para sa school.. higantes festival po kasi ung theme na nabunot namin and then pinag-11cpan pa po nmin kung instrumetns or cd/ tape gagamitin para sa sayaw.. ngaun nag sesearch po ako ng mga songs kung sakaling cd/tape ang mapili namin.. thnx po!!!
