  • Tuzla is a city nestled in the northeastern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, characterized by its rich history and a predominantly Slavic-Muslim population. Let's explore some aspects of Tuzla, including prices in Bosnia, the local housing scene, and a glimpse into the history of the Bosnian War.
    My Instagram / andreyaprel
    1. Historical Exploration: Tuzla boasts a history that dates back centuries, with traces of various civilizations and cultures. The city was greatly influenced by Austria-Hungary and the Ottoman Empire.
    2. Cultural Diversity: the cultural of Tuzla is woven with the threads of diversity, reflecting the coexistence of different ethnicities and religious communities - Orthodox Serbs and Muslim Bosnians. Mosques, traditional markets, and cultural events contribute to the vibrant tapestry of this city.
    3. Bosnian War: The Bosnian War (1992-1995) left an indelible mark on Tuzla, as it did on the entire region. During this tumultuous period, Tuzla, with its multi-ethnic composition, faced challenges and endured the consequences of the conflict. Let's talk about how the Croats, Serbs and Bosnians fought here.
    4. Economic landscape: exploring Tuzla's economic landscape provides insights into the local cost of living, housing market, and business activities. As one of the major cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tuzla plays a crucial role in the economic development of the region.
    5. Prices in Bosnia: Bosnia and Herzegovina, including Tuzla, is known for being a relatively affordable destination for tourists. Exploring local markets and supermarkets can offer a glimpse into the pricing of various goods and services. In the video I will cover the cost of food in the city of Tuzla. It's really not very expensive here.
Tuzla stands as a testament to the resilience of its people and the cultural richness that defines Bosnia and Herzegovina. Whether delving into its historical sites, navigating the housing market, or understanding the impact of the Bosnian War, Tuzla invites exploration and contemplation of its multifaceted identity.

After 3 and half minutes I am not sure should I watch the rest. So many incorrect informations.
Bosnians and Bosniaks are different things. Bosnian is a nationality - all citizens of Bosnia and Hercegovina are Bosnians and Herzegovinians.
Bosniak is an ethnicity. One can be Bosniak no matter where he/she lives: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Turkey, Germany, Mars, does not matter.
In this video you speak about Bosnians instead of Bosniaks.
You do not even know the name of a country. Bosnia and Herzegovina and Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina are two different things
Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of andministrative units of Bosnia and Herzegovina, comprising 51% of its landmass.
Name of a county is Bosnia and Herzeogovina.
Your population data is totally incorrect. By last census of Bosnia and Herzegovina at 2013. this country had 3.5 million people out of whom ethnic percentage was as follows:
    - Bosniaks 50%
    - Serbs 30%
    - Croats 15%.
Instead of taking the official data from 2013. you took UN estimate from 2017. where it says 3.8 million. It is just not possible, because since Croatia entered to EU at 2013., and that is the year of Bosnian last census, we are loosing population rapidly, because of massive emigation. Bosnia today cannot have more than 3.2 million people, and at 2017. it could not have anyhow more then 3.5 million.
When you want to say that one ethnic or religious group represents "vast majority" in a certain country it means that group represents more then 66% of population of a certain country or more then 2/3 of population.
In case of Bosnia by census of 2013. Muslims represented 51% of population what is almost exactly half of population, and not anyhow "vast majority".
I hope rest of the video is finez but I doubt.

Thank you for the detailed and informative comment. I think he is very useful for the audience. I wish Bosnia and Herzegovina to conduct a census of the population, which has not been for a long time, and to clarify the real population and how it has changed, including by religion

@@tripwithAndrew Until next census is held you should use last census of a certain country, in this case of Bosnia and Herzegovina. When it comes to Bosnia, country has less population then 2013. percentages of its different ethnic or religious groups are more-less the same, give or take 2-4% of each group.

They always hated us because we were our own thing, from the middle ages when we were adherents of a separate Christianity until today when we are islamic. Its both religious and expansionist, we are unfortunate to be between these two "brothers", and their separate christianities and hence expansionist land grabbing dreams.

Why you say Muslim, when it was established by Croats in 950 A.D. as town Soli and Croats are still present in old Croatian town Soli, which was renamed by Ottomans when they occupied Bosnia into Tuzla.
The only Slavs which live in Soli(Tuzla) are Croats,Muslims aren't Slavic, they are Turks and Albanians, while Serbs are Orthodox Vlachs,Cincars and Armenians...only Slavs are Croats which settled in 6th century and established city Soli in 950 A.D.
And the same language is spoken in Soli more then 1000 years or millenium,a Croatian language!

I would not use the term “occupied”, since the environment of historical events always moves the people forward and then backward. Before the Croats and Bosnians, Roman legions were generally active in this territory. From there came Latinization, Romanization of the Slavic population, as well as the adoption of the Roman faith. it turns out that the Romans, modern Italians are the real occupiers, according to your thinking. and before the Roman period the Illyrians still lived here. and so on. It’s all history and there’s no point in arguing.

Bosnia was occupied by Turks and there was free non occupied parts of Croatia, not whole Croatia was occupied by Turks,it was mostly Croatian region Bosnia under Turkish attack, because it was first part of Croatia on their path of Turkish conquest of Europe!
Modern Italians cannot be occupierd of Bosnia like Turks were and modern Italians aren't Romans(Longobards,Normans or Ostrogots which ruled on territory of modern Italy aren't descendants of Romans,so neither are Croats Romanized Slavs, because Croats conquered Romanized Ilyrian region which was subjected to East Roman Empire.
History matters, otherwise we can say that Vikings were Arab and Somali looking people, which we can see today present in modern Sweden, from where Vikings originate!
Or we can say that Queen Victoria was black women!😅😅😅
      Real history matters!
...do you know that Herzegovina carries name after Croatian noblemans Herzegs and that all medival fortresses in Herzegovina or Bosnia was builded by Croatian nobility, that it was Croatian blood which ruled Bosnian Kingdom!
