Damn. It isn't only hard for New Jammers - but also Non-Members in general.
I was a non-member (my membership ran out) and I decided to test if I would get trades.
Obviously, I didn't get much (AND my list was fair for the item I was tryna get). When I put a good short (blue) on trade and asked for White Wheels (which means I'm overtrading), someone tried to trade me a rim and a Gray Box Head (way under).
Once I told em "I know my worth, my friend" they vamoosed.
So then I logged off and bought membership.
I kid you not, the second I logged on and asked for a trade, someone traded me a den beta. How come no one traded a den beta when I was a nm?
Literally no one trades NMs unless they wear rare clothing (as I had no clothing on my animal at the time).

For me I assume they’d prefer non member items but that’s still technically stereotyping. If they’re asking specifically then I will do that but if it’s “trade me” I’ll try to fit in non member items even if it isn’t necessarily the worth, if they’re not interested I’ll give listed worth then

its already so difficult for non members to start off and get good items, so to see members trading NECKLACES and then calling u out for "lying" is a joke haha.. it definetly is easy to get good items because of TFD

This method works SO well, I only did it today and I got many clothing betas, rims, a den beta, jamaamliday scarves and other things
I had to do it for a while but it's so much quicker then the other stuff I've tried

When trading plushies i just ask for rims and normally get those trades, when you said "accepting all trades" the people with the necklace trades mightve thougt you were giving away the plushies not trading them

What is with recently people trolling me when I play on my nm spare. If I’m on my member aj with all my rares I don’t get trolled AT ALL but when I’m nm legit half of my trades r just trolls and it sucks bc I try to record trading proofs and it’s more stuff I have to cut out 😕

I tried to do this on ajpw and failed miserably for the most part, either got ignored or got under trades. I hopped onto aj classic and got a good chunk of rims and adventure rares when i tried this. Not much but far better as apposed to Ajpw
