Radwanska never recovered from that loss to Lisicki. That was her best chance to win a Slam!!
Glad she didn't , poor sportsmanship there 👎👎👎
Absolutely although Australian Open 2014 was also a great one. Such a shame but at least she is proud of her achievements.
I’m not even a fan of Radwanska but this narrative is nonsense. She spent four more years in the top 5 and won most of her big titles in that period, including the WTA Finals in 2015.
@@djordjenikolic9059 The poor sportsmanship was from Lisicki who rolled about on the floor for a few minutes before finally coming to the net
@@0nFoot Oh, you are obv Aga's fan who couldn't forgive Sabine for the win here 🤣🤣🤣
I'm glad she won 😍😍😍
20203 was Svitolina's best chance to win a slam
True. It felt like everyone was rooting for her to win for herself, her baby and Ukraine.
Yeah. And Jabeur's. And Pegula's
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thank God Svitolina is still slamless 😍😍😍
2023 is absolutely Jabeur vs sabalenka 🤩 it was so impressive so emotional so incredible match
The Kvitova / Venus match is one of the best matches in history. The ball-striking quality was insane.
Kvitova vs Williams one of the best Wimbledon matches ever, so high quality tennis 😊
Venus Davenport 2005
Serena Dementieva 2009
Kvitova Venus 2014
Serena Azarenka 2015
There are many more high quality matches tho
@@djordjenikolic9059 yes, Sabine vs Serena
@@djordjenikolic9059all of those except the 2015 are my top 3 of the 21st century.
@@user-cp2bo3zm9s not that good
Great list but for 2015 I think Serena vs Azarenka QF was a better match, maybe one of the best of their rivarly, with incredible intensity
I was like I just know 15 is Serena and vika lol but nope
I NEED Muchova back on tour immediately
She's back
First match back tomorrow!!!
Injured again...
I’ve gotta say that I think 2016 Serena VS McHale was a drama and 2015 Serena VS Watson was a thriller too.
Servena had so many fk good matches. Remember she vs Shvedova, Zheng, Kvitova, Azarenka,....
Late career Serena was like watching her play in slow motion. Difficult to watch when you remember what she was a decade earlier.
This video is an excuse to remeber Sabine winning the semi and then losing to Bartoli 🥴
We all know Marion would never have won that final against Aga but no one can and shall take away that Wimbledon title from her
@@user-ir5oh1sc7u and thats ok she earned her title, the comment was not trying to say otherwise
Yes It was Radwanska's Golden Opportunity
I already knew which match had been chosen for 2014 before even watching the video 😂 It was so epic. The two greatest grass court players on the women’s side of the last 25 years 🔥🔥
The best match of 2023 was Sabalenka vs Jabeur Semifinal, the shot making of jabeur, the power of sabalenka, Jabeur hit powerful shots with exquisite drop shots, it had mor quality than Svitolina vs Azarenka, neither of those to are as powerful as Sabalenka, and they didn't showcased variety and highclass technique.
2023 was definitely jabeur sabalenka
Harmony Tan bailed on her doubles partner after this match, to focus on singles. Her partner publicly dissed her. And then she lost early anyway lol
Tan made it to the second week of wimbledon, she made more money and didnt have to share it. that match against Serena was brutal, she dogged a bullet because Tamara showed a sign of emotional immaturity by blasting her publically - most people deal with it in private
Match Radwanska vs Cibulkova in the round 4 was definitely the best during 2016 Wimbledon!!! So iconic
Kerber SST was an outstanding match. Two great fighters leaving everything out there, that's what tennis is about
Kerber Sorribes Tormo was the most ridiculous match ....does someone have extended highlights
I need those please. How crazy after 3 years Wimbledon Page hasn't upload that one
That’s right ! We need you Sabinelisickifansss !!!! Haha
I will never forget that Su-Wei v. Halep match. Such a shame we didn’t have much of her in her earlier years in singles, except for that one AO run where she lost R4 to Henin💙💙
That final scream from the audience in the Konta vs Halep match was so dirty 💀
i can't even watch tan vs serena , i've erased that match from my brain
That was an excellent match. Very exciting and full of variety. Serena still showed shades of greatness but she struggled with Tan's slices, much like she did against Vinci.
I still can't forgive Lisicki losing to Bartoli in the final
Kerber-Muguruza in 2017
That one was way better than 2015 one
Don't get me wrong, Muguruza Kerber in 2015 was epic but not as epic and good as Serena Azarenka QF. Also eventhough Venus Kvitova in 2014 was brutal, it was a match with many short rallies and quick points, Sharapova Kerber from the same year was more entertaining for the crowd. Also Svitolina Azarenka last year instead of Sabalenka Jabeur, really? 🤣
I personally would have put the Swiatek/Bencic match as the best match of 2023.
But admittedly I am biased since I am a big fan of both players.
Venus x Kvitova was a R3 match that actually was the final. Kvitova just killed the other oponents really easily.
2014 venus vs kvitova might be the highest quality match in women tennis history
Absolutely crushing the ball
The fact Radwanska never lost to Bartoli on H2H and would have wiped her off in the Finals of 2013, despite a tough draw against Jankovic, Li Na and Lisciki (who completely crumbled in a lopsided affair)
Gauff Vs Hercog was drama but glad you put Muchova match. Excited for her comeback this week!
Dont forget: Jabeur vs Sabalenka and Jabeur vs Rybrinka and Na li vs Lisicki or Azarenka vs Serena 2015.
2020 Wimbledon's best match is Mladenovic vs Muguruza in the Semis, maybe it is the best match of the decade !!
2020? Um no
Aren’t we forgetting about Lisicki vs. Serena 4R 2013?
2015 - Serena vs Watson hands down best match
And 2012 was Paszek vs Wozniacki R1, one of the matches of the decade
I would replace 2024 Azarenka vs Svitolina with Swiatek vs Bencic.
swiatek vs bencic had so many unforced errors, granted i dont remember azarenka vs svitolina, but the bencic match i remembered from so many mistakes on both sides
@@deusexmachina9776Sabalenka Jabeur by far the best match last year
Cornet vs Williams for 2014 i would say!
Good to be reminded of Jo Konta. She was the ultimate 'mechanical' player, fantastic on her day but she could never sustain a run of matches with her style of play....
Lack of Jabeur Sabalenka match is surprising that was the best Wimbledon's match in recent years
Sabalenka had 45 unforced errors, complete mental collapse. compared to Kvitova vs Williams were 40 EU were hit between the 2 of them. gone are the days were players hit more winners than errors and hold their nerve.
@@deusexmachina9776 These times hasn't gone and Jabeur did 28/14 that match. It's often seen having positive w/ue proportion in WTA tennis now especially from Swiatek, Sabalenka, Collins or Osaka and even players lose their games. It should be differentiated commiting ue after rally below 5 hits or above that or even higher and same was the case in USO 2023 final where Gauff with fantastic defense forced here to do so
@@croaker97280 the quality of a match is about the w/ue for both players.. Swiatek wins matches without much winners, mostly points from her opponents EU - also Sabalenka is thw queen of hittin EU and giving away matches, rarely has she ever been beatehn when her winners are drastically larger than her unforced errors. she hit 46 eu and handed Coco that US Open, Coco hit 13 winners and 19 ue. that is low quality. Coco herself when she lost to sabalenka at AO admitted this year's match was much better quality than the us open
@@deusexmachina9776 At the USO final Sabalenka wasn't given chance to hit a winner as Gauff got to every single even the furthest balls, probably she's the fastest women tennis player in history. That's how Gauff typically preys on points playing defensively, hitting small amount of winners, not giving points away easily except matches with Swiatek where she has to be aggressive. Similarly is with Swiatek she typically doesn't stand out in this proportion but forces enormous amount of pressure on opponents leading them to forced errors gaining point this way. Sabalenka mostly wins her matches with more winners than errors but since Gauff was on the other side of the net it wasn't possible to accomplish it
@@croaker97280 I am not denying Coco's defensive skills. I am saying Sabalenka folded under the pressure of the occassion hence all the errors. FO, W and US Open, US Open 2022, 2021 those opponents were not as fast as Coco as Sabalenka lost those matches. The quality of a match lowers when one player is having a mental collapse. yeah Iga wins through pressure and loses through pressure, she hates being rushed which is what powerful hitters do. Sabalenka has the game to beat Iga but not the mentality. it is funny how Sabalenka beat Rybakina and Ostapenko, players who beat Iga constantly, yet folds mentally against Iga
2017 Muguruza-Kerber was better than 2015 (wich have a better first set but went down after)
With the 2017 one, while whatching you just knew the winner of that match Will win the title
2021 Sabalenka - Pliskova
2023: I'd pick one of Jabeur matches (Andreescu, Rybakina or - probably - Sabalenka) but it's a decent choice. Shame about the booing.
2022: That edition didn't have any classics, this one was the most dramatic so it was a good choice.
2021: Sabalenka d. Rybakina, Pliskova d. Sabalenka or Barty d. Pliskova.
2019: My pick as well and my introduction to Karolina Muchova.
2018: My pick as well. Shame about the Cibulkova loss in the following round.
2017: My pick as well although Muguruza d. Kerber is also held in a very high regard.
2016: I'd pick Cibulkova d. Radwańska but it's still a good choice.
2015: The very best choice (on par with S. Williams d. Azarenka). The winner of the tournament would have been decided here if it wasn't for Serena. It's great that both of them eventually won Wimbledon trophies.
2014: The very best choice. The winner of the tournament was decided here. Kerber d. Sharapova was good enough to be picked in almost any other year, though.
2013: The very best choice although Radwańska d. Li and Lisicki d. S. Williams were VERY close behind. Top half was too stacked that year.
Overall a very good job. I wonder what would be chosen for 2012.
Serena vs. Zheng in R3
2017 should’ve been Muguruza vs Kerber
I love the Saakari intro 😂
2014 sharapova vs kerber
What the intro with Sakkari? Explanation please?
Pliskova 😢
Your 2015 choice is nuts it was clearly Azarenka Serena.
Errani Shvedova 2012 is missing!!
Angie 😍
2011 definetly Venus Vs Date-Krumm
Serena dementieva 2009
Such a pity the best match of year 2023 was won by the worst and most unsportsmanship player
Will never respect Svitolina not shaking Azarenka’s hand. In the years before the war she would have, and since the war VIKA HAS NOT CHANGED. Shameful behaviour really, it helps noone.
