It's always, even after all these years, a miracle to me how they find back together after that noise part. You manage that too, that amazes me. What a pity that SY never really were into acoustic sessions. Now Rain on tin, please :-)
I guess they just had some sort of common equal feeling on how they could connect through sound. Take up where one had stopped and so on. I think it was mostly a certain involvement in the different soundscapes that they felt attached to that kinda led them from one section/part to another. I don't know. But that's my guess. I saw an acoustic version of Starpower here on youtube - think it's still around. Rain On Tin will indeed come :) Thank you!
Hi I love your videos definitely the best sy covers on the internet. I was wondering how you get the tabs and arrangements for these songs, do you figure them out by ear or do you have the tabs somewhere? Thank you!
Thanks a lot Valentina, much appreciated. Normally I try to look up the dominant tuning for a specific song and run all three guitar arrangements through that instead of using maybe three different tuning. I do not need to copy a song 100% but just enough to make it sound right or interesting enough to myself. Normally I do not find any tabs - I just listen and playalong until I find what I need sort of. But tabs can be helpful if you're stuck or need a specific right tone or chord that can be difficult to make sound right. So a lot of listening by ear - that's been working well for me :)
сool! Do you plan to perform 'Cross the Breeze and Pacific Coast Highway in this Yours new triple acoustic arrangement of SY? Pair of my favorite songs of them) Thank You for Your making, please don't stop! :)
Thanks a lot! Much appreciated! I will most definitely do Cross The Breeze :) Don't know about PCH, maybe it'll be too weird acoustically but let's see :)
