Hope you bring sharp/schrade Saturday back. Watching your knife reviews along with Gideons Tactical knife reviews every Saturday morning used to be my adult version of watching Saturday morning cartoons as a kid
This is a great video. I see this thing every time I go to Walmart. The zippo which looks similar is expensive to the ozark. I have a traditional bushcraft type hatchet and this one looks like it’s more comfortable and lighter. Thank you you for your service! Praying for your speedy recovery! Godspeed!
Looking sharp on sharp Saturday, Brian. I've seen this before on another channel a while back, definitely an interesting concept, but I'll stick to a separate saw and axe. 😘🤙✌️🇺🇸
I had the Zippo combo Axe/ Saw. Keyword... HAD. The Handle broke on it's first Camp trip. I was about maybe a dozen swings into splitting apppx. 4" Rounds for the fire pit. The Handle shattered at Axe Head right where the indention is (@11:20) on the side of the handle. Its as if it was designed to break there. I returned it for a full refund. Thanks for returning to the Sharp Saturday!!! The Chuck Norris quote had me rolling 😂😂😂
I'm so glad it's finally Sharp Saturday again, we need more of them please. I've held one of these saw/axes and it just felt flimsy to me. I didn't get to swing it around, wasn't in that kind of environment, so all I can comment on is just how it felt in the hand. Again, not great. It rattled and shook, made quite a bit of noise, and all I was doing was hefting it about to get a feel for it. Still, I haven't actually tried it so I won't knock it any further than that. Thanks for trying it out for us. I'd appreciate it if you would take a look at the new line of Schrade "Decimate" blades. The rumor is that they've stepped up their game quite a bit. I'd like to know before I buy and I always, always trust your reviews more than anyone else.
That’s funny, I was just thinking about this thing out of nowhere yesterday. A long time ago it was an option for my first hatchet when I was getting into bushcraft. Ended up with a gransfors bruk instead thank the lord 😂
Wow, i'll admit, that thing performed way better than I thought it would. Still I'd like a little more meat in the axe head and a saw that doesn't taper like that, but I guess if I come across one on sale it would be a good backup item to leave in the rig. I'll say it is more appealing than that $300+ monstrosity that Wranglerstar tested years ago.
@@SliceyMcChop nope, I don't remember the name of it, but it was black, had a stubby little axe head that folded out and a saw and knife that were contained inside the hollow handle.
I love the quote “Jack of all trades, but master of none”, but I’m always disappointed that people don’t complete the end of the quote, because it’s the best part. “A Jack of all trades, but a master of none, but it’s always better than just a master of one”.
Ranger band over that clip area to keep it from rattling and accidentally popping open. It is more designed like a tomahawk opposed to an axe or hatchet. Good chopper and “defense” tool.
Not real impressed with that hatchet or the saw. I'd rather have a Silky saw and a big chopper knife or machete or even a pruning saw and a standard wedge shaped hatchet to process wood. But, you did a good job on the review. Thanks.
@@SurvivalOnPurpose Oh that’s very kind of him! Lowkey I was gonna buy a Tahoma & gift it to you if you had a PO Box. But alas, the question has been answered and the spoiler is out. Keep up the good work! Cheers 🍻

Smith and Wesson has pretty much give up on the product.

Sometimes it is just better to have one tool to do the job it's design with .

Haven't seen you in a while. From your friends across the pond 🇬🇧

That’s like looking at a Ford escort, and then buying a Ferrari
@@SurvivalOnPurpose LOL 😂 That’s very true 🤣
Have a safe Labor Day , Bryan. Interesting concept but I'll carry my trail blazer and a folding saw or my roofers hatchet..
the Magic is still there
That chuck norris fact was really funny!
Looks like be just as well have big knife to baton and a silky saw

Is it not the same product tested?

@@mak450ahh gotcha must of been a different video thanks
Nice to see you back! An axe that can't split wood. That's a no from me.
Fair enough!
Yessir, the beard angle is way off for practical splitting. Mark up as a gimmick for city folk
Good to have u back pray youve been well
Yeah. Sharp Saturday. Chuck Norris fact: Mosquitoes are afraid Chuck will attack them.
I thought that the Balance, Orientation, and Rotation Testing Facility had blown away in a storm leaving you unable too do a Sharp Saturday segment 😂
Actually, my production schedule was blown away in a storm of too much other stuff to do :-)

Haven't been getting your vids bro

I need one of those

Lto gimmicky for me, but enjoy your videos
Hey, did you ever get your TOPS Tahoma knife back?
No, but Chris Tanner (PreparedMind101) gave me his.

That is very kind of you. Buy yourself one instead ;-)
Where Skunk?
Skunk? What skunk?
Worst product ever created by zippo
You tried their original lighter? Fluid would evaporate within 1 week of filling.
Too bulky, heavy and not simple of a tool.
