I once had a 1st edition charizard and sold it to a guy for 100 bucks about 22 years ago. If only I knew how much it would be worth now. Feels bad man.
I once had a ton of first gen cards from my childhood but when my ex wife moved out she took them and traded them all for drugs

Exactly! Back then I was happy to get 1-3 packs a month, now I can fulfill my dream and order a display whenever I feel the urge (okay there are limits obviously x) )

Whenever somebody opens anything vintage Pokémon and says “you’ll never guess what I found” I just assume it’s a Charizard.

Second time seeing this pull it still gives me goosebumps
It’s crazy to think, that at some point, whether it’s soon or later, there will be one last booster base pack left with the last remaining charizard in and someone might not even know it. I really do think the best thing anyone can do would be to hold onto at least a few of these if they have any left over.

Noticing that too. When I was a kid I also pulled the zard from a venusaur pack. It's a coincidence but I do notice it.

I was always a Venusaur fan, but I digress at the end of the day I never played pokemon and had binders of great maybe even high grade cards right out of packs in binders.....I miss them more and more as this poke craze goes on 😢
