The instrument Sarangi can tear open one's heart with many complex emotions attached to Ladies, Love and Longing. The Piano sounds like little drops of nectar being sprinkled - to reduce the pathos of the scene. The song is so slow that no one else could have danced to it so vividly and so expressively. Krishna is the eternal lover both for the Damsels and the Devotees alike. He can never make us feel saturated listening to His glory. A very relaxed, relaxing and refreshing presentation. Hats off to all the artists and musicians involved in this presentation. Be blessed!

Ashtapadi sounds so pathos-filled when you compose them around raagas which are deep, profound yet extremely softly feminine. This, in Nilambari , and in Basant Bahar( in the Hindustani repertoire) really makes you shed especially in the part 'malayata sheetala...' in Bahar. And the icing in the cake is ma'am superb understanding of this idiom and her representation of the same in such a form replete with immense grace and elegance. It is on the other side of the spectrum as KalingaNarthana Thillana. Such a sublimational exercise, ma'am!! Many, many thanks!

Unfortunately we artists don’t have budgets to buy new costumes for every video. The digital world is nee and demanding to those who are used to the stage. We are used to wearing one costume for many performances, repeating a choreography until it becomes like our breath, but the digital medium has strange expectations of novelty at every step.
