去咗加拿大幾年，如果話冇困難係冇可能，始終係離開咗一個自己活咗幾十年嘅地方，所以我家都努力中。最重要搵到令你地覺得快樂嘅生活模式，趁暫時未考慮要小朋友，事情更加容易處理。
餅神真係痴孖筋，咁短時間走咁多國家同城市。

之後10年，每年抽一個月當兵
兩位如果能夠的話，當然留在新加坡係最好的選擇啦！起馬衣食住行方便，社會安定！雖然物價各樣消費好高！現在全球都係物價上漲，到處楊梅一樣花！為了自己的前途與下一代都係留在新加坡比香港耒得好，而且這裏的政府對人民照顧周到生BB的配套又多！為了下一代應該要考慮一下！相信新加坡會比香港耒得好囉！👍
利申：喺新加坡住過3年
當時去到新環境探索喺爽嘅，好綠化，好先進，好乾淨，周圍都好整齊同靚，人又守規矩，但住落我覺得生活好悶，區區都一樣，富人區同市中心嘅除外。
外表做得非常得體嘅各種建設，實在其實價值觀同香港差唔多，政府非常優待海外嘅專才，你睇佢分Work Permit, SP, EP就理解，佢地好歡迎你只要你搵到錢，否則...
如果考慮喺新加坡下一代，除非認同華人嘅教育方法，否則都喺一出世都喺鬥學幾得多，小朋友比喺香港更大壓力，因為好學校、大學選擇少，所以都喺爭。
如果唔喺搵到錢嘅專才，感覺好難長遠發展

我们情况跟你们差不多。但是我们解决办法就是，
1.换工作，可以继续申请ep(pending)
2.和屋主做朋友，屋主后来续签就没有加租
3.申请pr(我们来一年的时候提交申请了)
4.太太找了wp的工作(现在quit了，专心备孕)

My grandparents left Indonesia. Malaysia. Now Singapore. I really praised their courage to stay on in Singapore. Now I'm the 3rd generation in Singapore and I share the journey of my grandparents to my 3 Children's.... Make your wish decision is it a good move to remain in Singapore.
Me too, im 3rd generation of Singaporean, my grandparents (1904, 1910) and parents 1931 and 1938) were born here.

到哪裡生活工作都是不容易，主要是心態和意志， 我們要去適應環境，不是環境適應你。
1. EP 續簽不會等候太久， 跟HR溝通一下，讓HR知道你們的租約問題
2. 收集各方面的資訊，最後還是你們自己要決定哪裡適合你們。看你們的談話中，好像會繼續留在新加坡
3. 如果EP續簽成功後，又願意繼續留下來，就趕緊申請PR
4. 住宿在找稍微遠一點
5.Ruby可以找工作，不過必須轉換成工作證

好似話近年來門檻比以前高好多亦要看你公司規模等相比10年前可任你行，都係要多得香港的完善制度等啦？
EP 轉 PR容易嗎？聽講唔容易。
EP是專業人士的工作證，PR是永久居留。EP不能隨便轉換工作，PR等於本地人員，可以轉換工作和享有本地的一些福利。一般而言，EP是比較容易申請和拿到PR的，但是申請的人多，發放的PR少，就顯得有點難度。如果EP有家屬和帶上孩子（越多越好）那成功的機率就相對高些。@@davezhang8866

年過半百，離開香港已經兩年，完全沒有掛念香港的感覺，因為呢個地方唔再屬於我，唔會再返去，寧願開開心心在外國生活，祝所有移了民的香港人都生活愉快！
香港大部份幼、小、中學生都係講普通話，在街上聽到大部份都係講普通話，好似返咗大陸咁

其实住哪里都无所谓，适合自己的才是最好的。最好落生根去了哪里就是哪国人，也不用说宁愿生活在外国。因为没有太大必要，移民了就要放重心在如何融入当地

Good luck to you both. One more thing I like about Singapore is the variety of food. the Malay, Nonya and the Indian. I agree there’s nothing much to do in Singapore, but think about food, all the locals love to travel for good food. That’s how they spend during their free time 😊

DP holders can get an Employment Pass ( EP ), S Pass or Work Permit if they wish to work in Singapore. The prospective employer must submit an application on their behalf, and the relevant qualifying salaries, quotas and levies of the respective work passes will apply.

其实你地可以先申请PR，拿到了PR之后再慢慢想，我之前都是申请PR先，后因认识我老婆，后来还有了BB就不用想，留下来！
So you have to renew this visa every two years? Then what about when you get older and what is your chance of renewing the visa? Unless you can get a permnament solution it is risky to stay at Singapore. If you works in IT Canada might be a better option if you don't have BNO visa.

I reckon your EP would be renewed without any issues as the SG government really wants your contribution towards income tax and GST as well as the local economy. Lease takeover (instead of starting a new lease) is something you could consider if you are not sure about the future that would help to save a lot of hassle!

Think carefully where both of you want to settled down. If you intend to use SG PR as a stepping stone to migrate to western countries, then better not apply for PR. That is what youtuber Steve is doing, he gotten SG PR, now want to leave SG & try his luck in some western countries. Perhaps to foreigners it seems nothing wrong but he is inconsiderate as he taken the PR chance away from someone who sincerely wants to stay put here
