The color combo I regret the most was putting my blue lights on and in my pewter/gold/silver-ish S10 and the satin black spray painted everything, everywhere, and roll on bed liner in a can on alot of it as well. Lol the blue LEDs everywhere and the rattle can black everything just screamed "teenagers first truck" 😅🤣🤣🤣

I wrecked it in the mountain cuz this dude with a trailer crossed the double yellow and the trailer clipped my front end and insurance wrote her off....f*ck that was a good car
Woah. That shit cuts deep fam. I had a purple and green iPhone 4 in 2011 after it released to Verizon and I color swapped the glass. I was a Jr in high school. Maybe that's why I always had people fuckin with me in GTA online. All my cars were green and purple. Little did they kno my cousin was a modder and gave me billions and God mode. *sips whiskey, Ahh the good old days.
Here’s where I defend Plasti Dip just a little. Dipped my winter wheels blue because winter is cold, blue is a cold color, and they’re just winters so who cares. My summer wheels (stock STI) have been flat orange, metallic red, and white. Dipping wheels has let me play around with different color combinations to see how I truly like them in a real world scenario. Today I own a set of Work wheels in white. Not sure if I would have got to white on white if I hadn’t gone through many different colors. *No I don’t ever plan on dipping my Works.
Excellent video. White is universal color. The new whites aren't even dull hence their names are like ""Eminent white" or "pearl white". The biggest advantage is when you need to apply the touch up paint. Good luck getting the exact same purple or bright green touch up paint :p
Alright imagine this: AW11 MR2. Valance, bumpers, quarter panels, and doors: white. Hood, headlight covers, roof, engine cover, and trunk: Egyptian blue. Wheels: dark grey. Toyota decal on front bumper: yellow. Toyota MR2 decal on trunk: replace with "OZ-00MR2" in white. Bonus points if you get this whole reference.
Here's a good color combo from a friend of mine... Grey bumper, Black roof, White front fender, Red doors, Blue trunk, Bondo rear fender, and hood delete Gotta learn a lot from him
With my silver mustang, removed all the red/amber colors with headlights, tail lights, side markers. Then painted the roof and spoiler gloss black. Paired with some gloss black wheels with a polished lip and some grabber blue brake calipers, it looks perfect in my opinion!
Thankfully we have need for speed games to help us picture our color combos in real life. Lol did that recently myself on a project color idea for my 1st gen mustang.
One of the best I've seen to this day was an old buddy of mine, years back: House of Kolor Brandywine S2000 with gold wheels, subtle gold accents, simplistic carbon fiber front lip.
I have a gloss black Z3 with alloy wheels, red powder coated calipers. I personally like this combo because it's like that newer sports car kind of look. Clean black paint, pretty basic factory color wheels even if they're not factory, and some kind of bright caliper color for that "performance brake" kinda look. Even though they're just OE's powder coated lol
I swapped all my dash trim and shifter bezel for aluminum trim and I put aluminum trim on my steering wheel. All black interior with aluminum trim and light gray headliner and pillar liner.
The only issue I can see with this is the colorshifting getting lost in how little it is used on a car. That being said, I think you could get a stronger shift if you use more of the green powder.
@@malevolution7041 I was planing on doing a racing stripe in gloss color shift. I want the satin gray contrast with the bright gloss color shift to look like irl photoshop magic
So what you’re saying is; is I nailed it with my 2017 focus ST in Kona blue with flat bronze option lab 716’s . With nitrous blue right calipers and carbon fiber. It’s also got the focus RS blue stitch steering wheel and the focus RS shifter. And a super long list of mods. I need to add it to the gallery I think. Came here to see if I was crazy for wanting bronze rims on my Dark Grey Forester XT... GTR in the background sitting there all dark grey with bronze rims, looking good AF. I think I got my answer.
Silver/Gray rims should stay the norm like a black suit (wheels) with white shirt (rim). Black rims on any car makes it look like one is driving on spare wheels without seeing rims design and detail especially at night.
Russian aircraft interior turquoise with black and a little bit of yellow for small stuff, like brake calipers works really well. If you go with caution stripes in one spot, you could get a rugged eastern industrial look. Easy to overdo though
I’m not surprised my color combo wasn’t here: Seafoam Green (almost Tiffany) body, white rims, purple underglow, then a splash of Hawaiian-themed orange/green fabric on the headliner
Red as a main color and black accents work so good. I once did that and it looked dope. It gives the car that sporty but also dark look. The trashiest combo is purple and green, yellow, or orange. Seen it, and it's trash.
Black and red always looks nice, it’s just always way too easy to get into the “too much red” area. I’ve got a BRZ that I murdered (kinda) with the red Brembos, all red tail lights, and a red banner. Inside I hope to go all black except for roll bar that is color matched to the Brembos

going for a dark night theme on my F02 7 ... metallic sapphire black paint / brushed bronze wheels / gloss black accents / 5% tint ... loving it so far!
