At first, I didn't know he was no longer in the band, so when I was trying to figure out what the name of the new song in this video was, Google and CZcams kept resulting in another song by the same name, by Dishwalla! Both songs got out to the public this year and within a few weeks of each other. When I found Dishwalla's official video of the song I thought "Is that J.R.?? He looks 15 years younger but how could he if this is a new song??" I was so confused! lol
@@3VAudioVideo I try to follow the original singer in a band that splits up, and call the other band a tribute band. (unless singer dies) J.R. keeps putting Dishwalla singer in his titles. Good vids!
Welcome to the fandom of a tight band of longtime fans who became friends. It's a shame you haven't seen Dishwalla, because both the band members of Dishwalla and J.R. are so incredibly talented. George, Scot, Jim, and Rodney all made Dishwalla incredible to see live and continue to do so. They're awesome guys like J.R. too!
We longtime fans are twice blessed to enjoy the solo path J.R. took, and the incredible band that Dishwalla remains.
