  • Tim Conway talks about the battle against lust, sexual immorality, and internet pornography. Sadly many professing Christians are slaves of sexual sin and need to examine whether faith is truly in Christ or not.

      Pray, and consider fasting.
Temptation becomes sin when you give into it. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Have Faith that He has already overcome.
Perhaps also check out the spiritual warfare playlist from Keith Malcomson at Limerick City Church… it’s purely scriptural expounding no weird hyper charismatic stuff I promise.
Bring all thoughts captive to Christ and pray without ceasing.

      @fredtheafricanpianist5935 Před 2 lety +1

Hi and God bless! There definitely is a way to make strides! I've struggled with lust before, to the point that it was almost shoved in my face sort of, but we can prevail. It's still a temptation, but God can give us more than power for it. For with God, *all things* are possible.
The key thing is to be born again - to fully repent of sin and trust in Jesus Christs sacrifice on the cross, and to *spend quality and quantity time meditating in God's word without fail DAILY* . As it says 'walk by the Spirit and you *will not* fulfill the lusts of the flesh'. Meditating verse by verse on the Bible should be our lifestyle, as it is written 'man should not *live* by bread alone, but on EVERY word that comes from the mouth of God.
Personally, I aim to spend over 1 and a half hours in God's word daily, quiet meditation time. 1 hr in the morning, 25 mins in afternoon and 20 mins at night. I try to go through each verse slowly and think upon each. It's an investment, but lust becomes A LOT LESS DIFFICULT to deal with after this. It's much less difficult to stare away from girls on the streets. Also, it's also key to avoid situations alone with opposite sex members. We can't fight like that, as the Bible says to 'flee youthful lusts'. It's hard at times ,but with God's help we *can* overcome.
Please remember this and will be praying for you. Lust is *definitely* 'overcomeable' with God's Spirit. Without God and His words, it's downright *impossible* . Let us beg God sincerely for help, and get quality time in God's word. God is merciful and WILL help, as long as we give it our all! He can save us from hell and sin if we are truly sincere.

Good luck finding someone that doesn’t break a law
For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. James 2:10
For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. Ecclesiastes 12:14
Through all my failures, guilt, shame and feeling condemned, I found humility, compassion, understanding, patience, gentleness and non-judgement towards myself & others. That’s what an honest look at myself compared to the bible produced. Lots of nights crying out to The Lord in my weakness!
When I follow all the laws with my strength, I notice I do it out of self serving fear of hell.
“Oh wretched man I am, who will deliver me from this body of death.”

Saved me. I have always been a Christian and a devout Christian at that, but the sexual aspect of my life became very sinful overtime with my husband, I realized over a long time that even in marriage sex should be sacred, because when it becomes an impulse, the bar has to be set further and further away from what God intended, which leads to a reprobate mind and hiding from God.

To me this is made absolutely clear in Rev chapter 20. Here from verse 11-15 he describes judgement day. Im not typing it all out read it yourself CAREFULLY. First it says all dead rise and stand before God. Then the books (bible's books, His Holy Word) were opened, and another book was opened which was the book of life. Now read carefully "the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, ACCORDING TO THEIR WORKS" First, notice they are judged by their WORKS based on the BOOKS (plural, referring to his word not the singular book of life) not by their faith based on appearing in the book of life. They it says "and whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. These are two separate processes which apply to two separate groups of which the results are decided by two different means. After describing judgement of the first group based on their works using the bible (the books) as the example/authority, this group's judgement is complete. Afterwhich a second group IS NOT JUDGED, but simply cast into fire because their name isnt found.
Now theres no question the second group is the lost people because their name isnt written, so they are cast out unto death. There's no need to judge them because their unbelief has already condemned themselves; there's no need in a trial to decide a verdict if the defendant pleads guilty.
So if this is all the lost, then who's the first group? The "saved", the ones written in the book of life (ones not written are automatically cast out). These are the ones claiming innocent, so a trial must take place to see if indeed they are guilty or not. Theyre judged by the word, the BOOKS, based on their WORKS...whether or not they met all the conditions for accepting salvation as his word described to do.
This clearly shows the claimed saved, the church, is judged based on their actions AFTER accepting Christ, because all sin before is forgotten. His blood continuously cleanses us it says if we walk by him. We fall short, but war to the end in battle against sin. This is very different than continuously living in the sin willfully without sorrow or turning from our actions.

I agree with everything he is saying about knowing your salvation is real, but he is borderline works salvation. Yes we don't sin to be saved, we don't sin because we are saved. That said the Bible gives three class of soul, sinner, saved, and transgressor. So yes a born again soul can backslide, and their salvation is not at danger. Paul even wrote about delivering such a one up to Satan for the destruction of the flesh that the soul be saved on the day of the Lord. You can make your Christian life a life of Hell, God will whip you until even killing you if necessary, they are saved, but most stand judgement naked, with nothing but loss of reward. Strive for the high mark, fight the good fight, obey the commandments of Christ if you love him. That said if you fall into sin, do not throw your hands up and say well I can't do it as perfect as this guy. Come back to Christ, repentance is turning 180 degrees away from the sins causing separation from Christ.

You can make your Christian life a life of Hell, God will whip you until even killing you if necessary, they are saved, but most stand judgement naked, with nothing but loss of reward.....i fear it`s much worse, than just loosing rewards! here is my perspective Paul is not contadicting himself when he writes in 1Corint 6:9:" Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who submit to or perform homosexual acts. -- will not inherit the Kindom of God means they are out and not in the kindom of God do you agree? and how does Paul call this Man in 1Corint 5,11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.-- He calls him a wicked Person, and where do wicked Persons go according to the scriptures? when they do not inherit the kindom of God? Jesus says in Mark 9:47:"And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell. He is not just loosing Rewards, but his very Life! okay, but what does Paul mean when he writes :" delivering such a one up to Satan for the destruction of the flesh that the soul be saved on the day of the Lord. in Galatians 6:8, Paul writes:"Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. so you can not have both and go to heaven!- one thing has to die, the other has to live! Jesus says in Luke 13:3 :"No, I say to you; but unless you repent, you will all perish likewise...this is Key- Repentance! this is the goal of handing him over to Satan to be chastised Hebrew 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth....this can hurt badly! but he has to Repent in Order to go to heaven! you can not die unrepented and expect to inherit the kindom of heaven! so do not be decieved!

Some times we fail in spite our self control, but again we repent and continue the new life. Perhaps this type of falling and rising life may continue till our death. But finally, the grace of God will win this battle, and in a resurrected, heavenly body,we will be completely freed from this fighting and presence of sin.

Feeling God’s presence and peace in my life means so much more to me. Yes sexual sin is pleasurable for a moment but then it demands its payback which we know is eternal death but the pleasure of knowing God is so indescribable that even through the hard times that you sometimes go through you wouldn’t trade it for all the cheap imitations that the world offers. In 2019 or 2020, I was in a dream and I saw the Holy Ghost in bodily form come down from heaven upon me and I became full of power so much so that the very wind was in the power of my hand. A number of things happened in the dream but because of time I won't go into much detail. In dream, after the Holy Ghost came upon me and I became one with the Spirit of God and my mind was purely the will of God and not my feelings. In the dream, I went about commanding people everywhere to fear God. That was my only message to people in the dream that I met and by the power I healed people in the name of Jesus Christ while in the dream. After some other things took place in the dream, I eventually woke up and because of the dynamic power in the dream after the Spirit came on me, I can tell till this day I have never had any dream like that. It was so unique and surreal and I wanted to go back into the dream if I can think it into existence. When I woke up from the dream, I realize it was just a dream but something amazing happened after I woke up in my room alone. The very Holy Ghost that came on me in the dream said these words to me from behind me, "Do not defile yourself otherwise this power that is in you will leave you" and I looked behind me and saw no one in the room with me but just the voice. Two days after I had the dream and heard the voice in my room, I went and committed fornication. After I committed this sin and came into my room, people what I am saying here did happen literally, I was standing and I felt a person walking literally out of my body away from me. This now was not a dream. It happened for real and after this person that I could not see with my sees but felt walk out of my body, I felt empty and the reality hit back home when I immediately remembered the words I heard while in my room two days ago that if I defile myself the power in me will leave me. I have been praying to God to return that experience and reality but its been hard to have Him come and stay in me again and used me for what He purposed then but my sexual struggles today with pornography has kept Him far away from me. Sexual immorality will truly separate you from God and if you don't repent, it will end your soul in hell. God keeps no company with people who are sexually immoral. I had my experience with God and therefore I can confidently speak to WARN people to stay far away from sexual sin. It destroy destinies, hindered divine visitations, keeps you unclean and leaves you unfulfilled in life without true repentance and holy living.

Once saved always saved is false doctrine

[20] If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. [21] It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.
A person can lose there salvation according to these verses
We must know God and we must Obey the Gospel

[8] He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
How do we obey the Gospel

[16] For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
The Gospel is the Power of God unto salvation
      1 Corinthians 15:1-4 NIV
[1] Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. [2] By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. [3] For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance : that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, [4] that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
The Gospel is the Death burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
How do we obey these three events
      Romans 6:1-7 NIV
[1] What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? [2] By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? [3] Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? [4] We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. [5] For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. [6] For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin--- [7] because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.
We must be baptized into the death of Jesus in order to be raised with him. Why? Because that is where we are United to Christ. Why would God want us to get into his death? God wants us to get into his death because that is where we reach the blood of Christ and nothing but the blood cleanses our sins away.
      Ephesians 1:7 NIV

I understood a long time ago that if your faith doesn't effect your actions then you don't really believe in Jesus at all because if you did you would change, but this exegesis that Jesus was saying if your faith doesn't cause you to cut things out of your life it is worthless is incredible. The fact if the matter is that some people have familial curses on them and they need to break those curses by the authority of Christ. My comment is not going to be flattering.....
I assume most who read this will have a reasonable working knowledge of Buddhism? A Buddhist believes pretty much exactly what is being taught here, that lusts have to be over come. That is true of Christianity as well but the great difference comes in the how?
As a Christian the message should be that if you are struggling, you are not near enough to the Lord, get closer, not fight harder. After all the salvation we are promised is from sin not just the penalties?
It is true that saving faith and what is normally considered faith are very different things and had this minister explained that difference I would be saying thank you for a sermon rarely heard; but it was not taught?
Paul asks should we sin then, that grace might abound? God forbid.
No Christian you are not to keep sinning comfortably, nor are you to overcome that sin as a Buddhist might. You are to draw closer to the Lord. But before you can do that you must know Him.
The true work of the church is not to hammer you, hold up a mirror and say look at yourself you are a filthy sinner and you’re going to die in your sin????
It is to teach what sin looks like sure.
It should be able to say what the flesh is destroying? After all he said repeatedly the flesh wars against the soul….so what exactly is going on? What are we talking about, how is the flesh destroying the sole?
How is lust, sexual sin, damaging you? Make no mistake it is defiantly doing damage and that is why God who loves you and others who are harmed is angry over it and all sin, but what is really going on?
The church should know right? This minister should know? Why isn’t he making that part clear? Yes absolutely James did say the demons believe and tremble; believers in the majority, that is most claiming to be Christians are going into outer darkness; believing is not salvation….I am gratified to hear that taught but then still what is faith???
If not believing, why not….what does faith really look like and how/where do we get it?
Again, this is stuff, the church should know and teach???
Well we are the church and as I took the time to say he should have taught what I have, God will not be pleased if I just leave it at that. So I am going to fill in the blanks…..
Warning this may take more than ten mins.....
First what we lose by giving into lust? At our core we have been created to love and to be loved. If we are willing to use others, we are in direct conflict with our reason for being. This is true of sexual sin and all sin. If you are a Christian then somewhere within you understand that to see a person as an object, to value them for a physical attribute, or for gain in any seance is to fail to be what you were created to be.
As a Christian or a person wanting to become a Christian the first step on the journey is to recognize that truth and love can and do exist, can and will be lived out, and you want more than anything to be part of that. That is the bases of repentance it is the foundation Yashua said of the entire law. We can not have love without intimacy, we can not have intimacy without truth, and we can not have truth if what we are within is corrupt. How could any of us want others to see the real me? How could they and still love us? That is the problem we face with sin. If fighting harder was an answer then the law would have done the trick and Yashua would not have gone to the cross.
Now then faith. After all that’s how we are saved? At least that is the part we need to worry about. Christ has already provided the grace and there is enough to save the entire world a hundred times over.
For by grace are you saved….through faith….and there it is, the problem; why the church is failing? Who teaches what faith is??? Almost everyone thinks it's a kind of believing?
For by grace are you saved through faith and that??what that? (faith) not of works lest any should boast. You see your works not matter how hard you try, even if you did gouge an eye out don’t save you…..If they could you would just become prideful....Which honestly happens to a lot of Buddhist monks.
For by grace are you saved through faith and that not of works lest any should boast it is a gift from God?
That is Christianity 101 for dummies. That is the whole ball game. So if you get faith you have the power to get closer to Yashua and doing that is going to leave you awash in grace, rather than self righteousness.
Next problem is how do you get the gift????
Romans 10:17; as you likely have not seen it before, but this is how Paul delivered it to the church, in Greek…. ἄρα ἡ πίστις ἐξ ἀκοῆς, ἡ δὲ ἀκοὴ διὰ ῥήματος Χριστοῦ.
What you likely have seen is an English translation; So, faith from hearing - and hearing through (the) word of Christ.
There it is faith by the word of God????
That’s what most read what do most understand this to mean?
So you go to church and the minister opens the (word of God) or you read scripture….the (word of God); and from the teaching, from the reading you come to believe and that’s faith????
It says so right there in Romans? At least that's what the translation seems to say? but why give you the Greek if the English was clear???? because It's not..
If you go back to the Greek, you will see the term ῥήματος (rhēmatos) second term right to left.
ῥήματος (rhēmatos) and λόγος (logos) are both Greek terms translated (word) in English but they mean different things. Had Paul used Logos then faith could come from scripture or sermons were the word was opened; but Paul went with ῥήματος (rhēmatos) a spoken word?
He is saying that you receive the gift of faith, the kind that saves, when God speaks to you…..
Believing is good; A good place to start. Learning about sin is also. At some point understanding you have no hope of being the kind of person able to be what God created you to be and understanding that the only way to live in joy is to be that person may cause you to turn to the living God creator of all that is seen and unseen and say Father help me I have no where else to go????
That is an act of repentance and if you don’t get there you are not going to encounter Him but if you do, and if you seek Him with your whole heart, scripture says with certainty you will encounter Him, He is not far off, and it is His will that you should reach out for Him…
At which point mind blowen you are still going to be a sinner…..and from time to time He is going to take you to the shed and woop you…. At which point you can say I’m out of here. Faith gives you the chance of being a child but we are not prisoners He won't bend us against our will, he will call us to His….
    Hebrews 12:6-11
For whom the Lord loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives.”
If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? but if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons.
There it is, that is the stuff Christianity is made of. It is, has always been, a relationship. Its not a rule book or a religion, it is knowing, not knowing about God…..
So, faith; why do we some times think its about believing?
No one that encounters God fails afterward to believe that God is actually there; and nothing can persuade them otherwise. But a person that comes by arguments, reason, religion, and not personal relationship is not holding on to God; they are holding onto a concept they created within their own minds.
Faith causes belief so all that have faith do believe but not all that believe have faith….
One last thing; Mormons often speak of their encountering God. They point to this experience as evidence that they are following the true path; but what they do not do, and what every Christian must, is to test the Spirit they encounter. We are commanded to do so because we are expected to have an encounter. Either of light or darkness possibly both.
If you got all this way I hope it was helpful and worth your time…

Pray this way when you study and you will be amazed where it leads you.
I believe that we need not specifically pray for a mate because God already knows what we need, not necessarily what we want. There is an expression that states - stop complaining about not getting what you want, just be happy you don,t get what you deserve.
When coming under temptation ask for the help of the holy spirit to ward off this temptation. The reason for this is that we cannot survive alone because we are imperfect children of Adam. This means we have varying degrees of ability to fight off evil. Beseaching the holy spirit for help makes up for our lack of ability. This spiritual help makes up the difference that keeps us from being perfect as Yeshua was. Yeshua only survived his temptations, being a perfect man like Adam was. The spirit will give us the percentage difference that will give us the momentary perfection we need to survive the present temptation.
Yeshua demonstrated that Adam could have survived temptation. Yeshua was an equal to Adam and did survive. In fact he survived till the very end under severely adverse conditions, always maintaining his faith in his Father. He showed us how to "Die in Christ" and as a result gain a priestly position in heaven and immortality as well as being in the first resurrection.
The above talk is tight on. Always pray for help when coming under temptation. God will show you the way out. - If you love me, you will obey my commands (John 14 : 15). Study hard and learn how to love God and his son.
Eye has not seen and ear has not head what God has in store for those who love Him. (1 Cor. 2 ; 9) Just keep your eyes on the prize (Phil 3 : 14).

romana 3:23 says for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and are justified freely by his grace. those that believe in Jesus and repent of their sins find grace from God. that’s unbiblical that we stop sinning since is our fallen nature, and 1 of John 1:10 says if we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our heart. the law itself lets us know that it’s impossible to keep the completar law. his grace is a gift from God. so no one can be high headed to justify on his own good deeds. Jesus clearly hates sin and he is holy but we walk in repentance does not mean we will stop sinning but that we fight to stay clean from sin. one thing is to freely sin, we cannot if Jesus lives in us but we can be tempted to sin and even stumble in sin but all sin is equal to God, so we will feel the disconnection from God because of sin, but if we are saved we cannot stay in sin because the spirit of God in us gives us conviction of sin. and his blood gives us reconciliation to God. but if we stay in sin we are dead in sin and our soul is in danger.

    • @ckimsey77

Theres a huge difference between claiming you have not sinned vs saying youve overcome a stronghold of sin in your life. Breaking from sexual sin through prayer is no different from breaking your smoking habbit...its not easy, and quitting isnt to say youve never did it nor claiming youll never do it again, but it is perfectly possible to overcome the battle with this and quit doing it. Our "sin nature" is we always have the thoughts creep in wanting to give in to flesly desires, but the war within ourselves is the mental/spiritual struggle to dismiss these thoughts and not give in to the temptation. Rev. 2:11 where Jesus is speaking to the church, the "saved", "He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death". This is spoken to the saved, his church, very clearly they must overcome; else if they do not overcome (repent and stop) they will hurt of the second death. Again in verse 17 "to him that overcomethwill i give to eat of the hidden mana..." 22 .._"I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, EXCEPT THEY REPENT OF THEIR DEEDS". Read Ch 2 and 3, its plainly explaining TO HIS CHURCHES which by definition are baptized believers, in multiple examples how theyve did well in following his will in many areas, but theres one sin they have held onto; and unless they repent and turn from it they will not enter in.
You know repent means to have a change of mind, as to turn against and resist a sin now that you know it displeases God, it doesnt mean to ask forgivess with the mouth then continue living as you did in the world. "Its better to have never known him than to after tasting of his good grace to return to the mire, its the same as crucifing him afresh", thats not exact quote but as i remember the verse. If its better to have never known him than to be saved then turn away and return to the world rejecting him...whats worse than never knowing him and being cast into hell??? It says no man or anything not even angels can pluck you from his hand this is true, and many misunderstand this verse to mean you cant loose salvation but read it carefully. Nothing can TAKE you from him, "take" is to say against your will, but if you FREELY CHOOSE to leave his hand, he wont force you to stay against your will. No one can cause you to fall with force, but you have the choice to leave if you wish...being "saved" is an ongoing state that is completed upon your death if you overcome as rev. explains, it is not an instantaneous event that happens when you think you believe in him. Salvation is a gift not of works, this means no amount of works can you EARN salvation...but salvation does come with conditions. "faith without works is dead", Though you cannot earn salvation by works, you also cannot accept the gift without meeting all of his requirements described all through the new testament.
I hope you read this carefully because its important. Im here because i care, so if you want more i gladly can refer you many more supporting scriptures. I willnot, however, argue back and forth like a child playing the "im right" game; this isnt about our opinions but what Gods word actually says. Be careful before you accuse someone of being unbiblical brother, it may very well be your own misunderstanding or lack of proper full wisdom/studying of the word...which respectfully is the case here

@@jesusgalvez2011 Thanks for responding, most people have difficulty talking about such things as an adult, without insulting or getting angry etc. I see it as you do...the difference isnt sinning vs not, but in the sorrowfullness of making a mistake vs continuously living in it willingly; or at least this is how I understood your point to be.
Rev. 3:5 I think addresses this point the best (along with multiple other places that in essence says the same but less directly)..."He that overcommeth...and I WILL NOT BLOT OUT his name from the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father..."
This obviously says the ones that overcome, endure to the end, do not turn away etc, He will acknowledge as His as blameless covered under His blood. This is simply the church, His body of people that have been saved. Since he says he will not blot their name out IF they overcome, the other unwritten side of this conditional statement is: if you DO NOT overcome, then your name can indeed be removed from the book of life.
I forget the place but could find it...but it says its better to have not known him than to have known his mercy and accepted his gift but then turn away and re-enter the filth of the world you once left...paraphrasing. If not knowing him means youve condemned yourself into darkness out of his presence in hell, then what could be worse than that??? Maybe this isnt literal i do not know, but the overall point remains that one can choose to turn away and enter back into a state of worldliness, following the flesh with no mindset against sin, thus losing the gift of life.
Its an important subject that many people dont study properly but just take others' word for it that you can live for yourself however you want and still go to Heaven no matter what. According to my study of the Word this is a false belief; there are conditions to be met to be saved as well as after you are saved. I thank you for discussing the matter with me.
To anyone who might read and disagree please comment. I'll be glad to look up many more scriptures I feel support this interpretation and fully discuss/study the subject deeper if you wish. Its not a matter of trying to be right or win an arguement, but all about understanding the truth. I could be wrong...but thats why we go to the Word and find out what thus sayeth the Lord. God bless.

What is being said in this video is purely Biblical and is the truth. We are to be Holy and perfect. Jesus Christ said this Himself in Matthew 5:48 " Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.". If you aren't aiming to be Holy and perfect then you're most likely going to end up in the Lake of Fire. It's the truth and it hurts... This is because Jesus Christ said in Revelation 3:16 "So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.". There's no middle ground.
Being a disciple of Jesus Christ is the hardest thing anyone can do. He gave up His life for us and suffered an immeasurable amount of pain, disdain and betrayal not to mention taking in all of our sin into His own perfect, sinless and Holy being so we would have a way out of spending eternity in an imminent Lake of Fire. The least we can do is aim to be Holy and perfect. As disciples of Jesus Christ we should live as though we absolutely cannot come close to sinning for the sole reason of being a perfect disciple of Jesus Christ.
Through this Revelation I just realized that I'm on my way to Hell because I disregard The Father God, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ everytime I give into my flesh. There was a time when I wasn't so weak and I lived a life in which I knew Jesus Christ was happy with me. How do I know? Because He manifested Himself to me and let me know. The power to live in such a way only comes by meditating in the Word day and night while living in continuous worship. I want to return to that level of spiritual connection with The Father God, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ but this world has distracted me and I hate myself for this. I need help.
Just imagine if He decided to come for His bride and you or I happen to be in the act of fornication, adultery or any other sin. You would be in a state of disregarding Him and exalting your flesh over His command to crucify your flesh.
He also said in John 14: 15 & 21 "If you love me keep my commandments" & "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.".
With this in mind don't get comfortable with the idea, "I can sin and ask for forgiveness" or "I will sin because I'm in a fallen world living in a fallen body so it's inevitable. This is why Jesus Christ died anyway, because I cant live a sinless life".
Throw those mindsets out the window and live as if Jesus Christ was on earth with you now and you were His actual disciple, suffering with Him in crucifying your sinful nature/ flesh. In result you would/ will be quickening your spirit through the power of The Holy Spirit who manifests Himself when an individual strives to perfectly obey the commandments of Jesus Christ.

So Paul calls us to consider ourselves dead to sin in Romans 6. So you want to consider yourself dead to sin, you don't have to go and lust any longer. Just as an old boss might call you and say you must come in and work, NO, you don't have to, you serve a new master, that of righteousness. Every change that I’ve made in my life to escape this sin has been preventative and avoidance. I have since found out that battling this sin is not even biblical. Avoidance and running for the hills and prevention is the key apparently and when you do this, your body is going to cry and moan and shriek and completely suffer because apparently the idea of putting to death the flesh is almost literal not figurative.
