That bd4 is good for the price but the American bass xfl is the best sub under 200 especially if u get the new model with ribbed surrounds like that elite u have. Also a lot of people will say the bd3 will outperform the 4 but idk that model but I don’t think they changed much besides fine. Well at least on lower power
I love the looks of that bdc4! And just one thing since this is a budget build, as far as budget amps go I wouldnt go with that rp2000 i had 2 of them as well as the 1500 and my buddy had one I just made 2 sealed boxes for his alpine type rs in his single cab behind the seats and I let him borrow my rp2000 while he ordered his hifonics bxx2400, the rp sounded decent, but the bxx was $30 cheaper and was much heavier than the rp I noticed just by installing it but after I set the gains and crossovers, the bxx had muchhh better sound quality and played the lows better, I used to have the older model brutus (brx2400) it played the lows which is one thing those rp amps have trouble with also their sound quality is far from good compared to whats out there, youll tell the difference if you get another amp the skv2 1500 would still push those subs very well with better sound quality and if you are still on a budget, Ive ran hifonics and never had a single problem with one!
Hey man, great review! I love the bd4s and I will be sticking with them for a long while, they outperform it’s looks in my opinion, thanks for the reviews man, keep up the vids!

I have a BD3 15. Getting ready to order the BDC4 15 along with a custom box. Our BD3 pounds in a Qbomb Prefab box. Sub up, port back. Excited to see the BDC4 in action.
I have the 15 inch version in a custom made box tuned to 36 Hertz on a audiopipe apcl 3002 1500 watt 2 channel... it slaps but underpowered at the moment
Just ordered 2 of the Bdc4 12's, running them with a hifonics brutus gamma 3300.1, I can't wait to get them!!! I'm working with a alpine type r 12 and a power acoustik gothic 12
I like the XFL outta subs under 200. Had the Soundqubed hds3 12s also. They took a beating. My best friend has the Power Acoustic BAMF 12s, which are decent , but not close the the xfl, or even HDS3 imo. Good videos.
I realize you commented 2yrs ago, hopefully you will see this and can reply. I just recently had my HDS3 12 die and looking g to replace it. Soundqubed is out of their HDS3.1 series so I was looking at this Audiopipe or the XFL by American Bass. I am using it in a sealed enclosure in my center console boat (it is in the cabin so that's why a single sealed 12). Since you have experience with the HDS how does the xfl compare?
I do believe you are the first to demo this sub.I have never owned Audiopipe subs but they look well built. And I have never herd anyone say anything bad about them.Good video man.Keep up the good work.
Parker Dacchille You have really picked up quite a few viewers lately haven’t you? I think when I first started watching your videos, you only had a handful of subscribers. I have to say,you do a good job with the description and you are well spoken.👍
I have a 2 stack in a 10-inch in a 2³ box built to spec, and the thing pounds super hard. I actually bought two, but one is enough for my access cab. I was wondering if this is noticeably louder or mostly the same.
@@princetigerbeatz9316 subs don't put out power. They take power, the JL W7 is rated up to 1500 watts rms for one but are reccomended for 750rms. These subs aren't even comparable though for SQL builds.
Great vid bid, looks like a good looking sub. Only one thing I wanted to bring up though, I'm not sure if it's your camera but for the noise you are making on that windshield wiper the rear view should appear to shake so much more! Like I said though I think it's your camera plus your side view looked like it wasn't even budging! I'm a well seasoned basshead (since the late 90's) and I know that the kinda sound you are making outside is substantial enough to dam near shake that rear view mirror off. Idk, awesome sub and vid!! Keep it and I'll keep watching!
The rear view mirror is very stout on this Jeep. Takes a TON of Bass to really make it shake. And yes the camera doesn’t pick it up as well as it could
im getting 2 of these to put inside of my extended cab ford . what bargin amp would you recommend? These will be running together with 4 8in torotech 8s . running the Soundstream T1.4000DL
Got mine today love it got it on a ssl 4k at 1500 watts at 1 ohm slaps and gets low! Only thing I hate is the terminals it's a pain I wish it had push terminals but it is a good sub for the price
Strip the wire long. Fold it over and wrap solder wire around it. Then hit it with a soldering iron or even a torch lighter. The screws will now bite into the solder wire good.
Hey parker how do you think 2 of these would sound in the big qbomb box it's the xl I think it's a total of like 5 cubic ft it's pretty big and I'd be having them in my chevy trailblazer ext
I just thought of a sub to test.. I've seen it couple times and they sounded good. They make different types. looks nice.. WLLDSE subs. Found them on Amazon.

Hey Parker I just bought the BDC for audiopipe subwoofer 12 but I'm confused on the terminals it says dual 2 but on one side of the terminals that has four I don't know other side it has to so how would I wire these though down to a 1 ohm load....
Hii mr Parker.have you done any videos on the q power super delux? Or not worth your time lol just want to do a comparison of this sub and xfl and possibly the dd 712 aswel
Had 2 BD3s ended up building a box for one sub which is 2.8 cubic ft tuned to 26 hz after having accidents with both one accident is my fault and the other happened out of no wherebeen debating on rebulding the other bd3 or get a bdc4 i think im getting the newer one i could always get the bd rebuilt down the road if the bd took the beating im sure the bdc4 can take more
One thing I would like to see you do with your box, which is an amazing well-built box, is make it so you can down fire it. With the Excursion of this woofer I would construct legs or sides there were at least three to four inches in width or off of the floor of your Jeep's cargo area. Not only does this create a stealth installation which could keep your hatch from getting smashed in, it gives the woofer something to load off of which will give even more cabin gain. This is free db without the use and destruction of the "dB fairies" we've heard so much about and no I'm not talking about certain spectators walking around shows....lol. Also, by down-firing, the compression of the air between the floor and the woofer acts like a spring and will help stop distortion. This allows the sub to actually take more power and sound better at the same time. I've actually put plexiglass windows in the in the top panel or and side panels depending on the install along with the covers to hide the windows. Once again this allows you to have a stealth install and still show off the sub as you can probably tell I love down-firing Subs and I think you will too when you hear it. Oh yeah , please oh my God please, use a ratchet strap and the tie downs the factory has put in the floor for the cargo net to hold your box securely in place. You will gain some sound pressure by doing this but most importantly it keeps your enclosure from becoming a projectile if there was to be an accident. Even if no one is hurt, it can also protect the sub from being damaged. This can be a little something you could add to each of your videos that you have an enclosure or amplifier install again. Even if you're installing an amplifier temporarily, you can run a strap over it with a towel underneath it to make sure the amp is not sliding around everywhere and then getting shot out of the window like a bullet. Also, keeping it from hitting a passenger or you. It would just be a positive influence to all the other DIY people out there. None of us would mind you doing it one bit and I'm sure most would encourage it. Thank you again bro just wanted to give you some help!
U think I’ll be ok running this sub with the skar 1500 mono amp. Wired to 2 ohm the amp max is 940 rms so 160 short from 1100 rms from the sub max rating?

It’s important to look at the thickness of the top plate. The BDC4 has a thicker top plate to strangle the voice coil with those 4 slugs.
