@@mrpulp700 see if your english is strong ,then u can even crack your exam within week but normally it takes 30-60 days for average student to crack the exam
So i would recommend you to practice first and then lodge your exam
Read books.
Confidence, practice, hard work.
Read Que first. (Understand)
Don't waste a lot of time in one Que.
Time management.
Focus.
Spelling ( singular, plural)
Read instructions carefully.
*Paraphrasing.
Do others ques first then go ahead with list of headings.
Factual (true/false)
Opinion (yes/no)
Relax when giving exam.
For getting extra bands presence of mind and good luck is also important

I got 7 overall bands .. you can call it as luck or whatever....just focus on getting not less than 6 bands in each module ..I'm sure you will score good.

Don't even skim the passage first! Directly jump to the questions and read the first two questions from each type as they will always be in order. Now read the passage thoroughly and find those two answers. Keep repeating the process until you get all the answers or reach the end of the passage. This helped me gain 9 band in reading!

I practiced all topics of Makkad book👉that really helps.
You can do your recordings. Best way to improvise.

In each reading passage there will be like 2-3 sets of question pick very first question of each set and once you will find answer for 1st question of 1st set in a passage then answers for rest of questions you picked of other sets will be around the place of 1st answer, repeat same process. Easiest module just learn 10-15 words everyday there you go you got 8 bands in 1-2months(depends upon your learning skills)

Another easy trick ... read 1st paragraph of passage first then look at all questions and read another paragraph after that look at questions do the same for all paragraphs in passage

By my thinking side if you are practicing reading then first for few days you should solve passage 1 and give it time of 15 to 20 minutes then goto passage 2 practice one hy one dont try to solve it first a whole module
