Sir Nigel Gresley A4 60007 'The Fellsman' A wild Day 05/06/24

A wild and cold day today more like back end than june with some heavy hailstones thrown in as well . Todays tour was from Crewe to Carlisle and return on the famous Settle to Carlisle line with Sir nigel Gresely A4 60007 in charge putting in a great show today, seen at Selside Cottages and a very wild Ribblehead just before the heavens opened up, the sun came out for us in time for a nice shot coming of the viaduct .

That was a treat coming over the Ribble head viaduct. And seeing peny gent fell in the background and River Ribble in the valley below.

Cold i would say David, very lucky with the sun at Ribblehead as the sun was only out coming of the vaduct to dissapearing past the station, cheers . 🌝👍
