Ken and Gen seem like a pretty interesting pair of cards ngl
being able to manually make TTT and Thrust live is already good but combine this with them either handripping your opponent or allowing you to trigger DW guys...
Ceruli already makes TTT and Thrust live but Ken and Gen make it even more consistent.

@@Raziel_HHL I know, I don't think other decks benefit from them as much as Dark World does though and making Thrust or Talents live is even easier due to us also having Ceruli.

@@justice8718 There is a rescue ace engine that achieves the same thing for Tear which can also be used on your opponents turn, but they still don't play that.
Dark World is THE all gas no brakes deck, and they basically just got 2 custom cards for free. I guess this is to make up for Colorless being so mid…
Colorless is useless, but those two new cards are fire. when Shifter is out of meta, only Droll is the issue and only post game 1. it will be a nice format for Dark World 😁
@@szymonsadloat the end of your turn you will still have the grapha fusion, the spell card to do the fusion and also a reign beux in your hand. with this premise you cancel any effect of an opponent with the grapha fusion and with the discarded reign beux you go to destroy all the spell and trap cards. Once this is done, if he tries to summon any problematic monsters, summon colorless and destroy all his monsters
@@Rocky-zi5cr but you need to have the bad reign beaux in the deck. this can brick your hand and makes your gameplan suboptimal. it is way easier to go for a handloop (for at least 3 in your turn), make Apo + fusion Grapha and handloop for at least 2 in opp turn. that way opp will end up one or zero cards in hand and that's gg

@@Rocky-zi5cr well, you still can brick. DW has now more starters but you still have plenty of high level monsters that do nothing on their own. also, when the Dangers are sniped you may end up with a bad hand or no hand at all and a board that does nothing. as DW is a totally non-linear, you need a solid gameplan and making a consistent handloop (which you can now do) is the most efficient
My body is so ready for rota in dark worlds
Gen + Ken solely giving you a +2 and also making TTT playable on turn one, it's just stupidily broken
Dark world is fun in simulators. Paper the deck gets real old , real fast. I played DW when the structure came out and every match went into time. The Gen / Ken cards are amazing support tho for the deck tho or basically any deck that doesn’t need a normal summon.

Esta versión te destroza si vas primero pero en segundo sufre mucho, creo que podría meter a radian.
Esta versión es la "competitiva" sumado la nueva tech de ken and gen

Yendo segundo, sacrifica consistencia y capacidad de pasar sobre campos establecidos, como pueden ser agregados de ratios dangers y kaiju (o similar) de main

I had a max rarity dark world but it has reached a point where i get bored both watching and playing the combos
Well we can get bored of any other archetype if we keep playing them unless you have unconditional love xD. Once you the hang of a deck if you don't really click you get bored af quickly. It haplened to me with swordsoul for ex or even kash. They are way more linear than DW imho

I actually question the amount of skill it takes to pilot DW now since you get free non games via handloops
DW isn't one card combo, consistency is not the best, that's the reason isn't meta, at least not tier 0/1

@@yutoYGO why not? you don't need your normal summon at all, it can bait an imperm or ash to play your genta/dark corridor or ideally draw 2 and discard a darkworld to trigger it as an opponent effect to go nuts

Why would they ever release support to a deck like this, this is the kind of deck that makes people want to stop playing this game, a 40 minute turn deck that ends in an otk, the epitome of everything that is wrong with yugioh. The funny part is that the deck is shit and loses to a single droll. But if you dont have it, you better have fun watching your opponent play for half an hour just for you to not play.
Don't quite get why people are so salty. Certainly isn't any worse than not drawing an out vs full power Tear. And Tear got to have a secondary turn on your turn too.
Though I will say if a Dark World player takes over 7 minutes to complete their turn either
1.) The opponent is reading every single card and preventing the Dark World player from progressing their turn efficiently which can cause any decks turn to be a long slog
2.) The Dark World player is inexperienced with the deck and should go play some more test hands before going to an official event. Though any inexperienced deck pilot will take a while but it's worse for Dark World because the deck isn't simple and there are a lot of choices to be made in a single turn so every extra second of thinking before doing adds up quickly
3.) The Dark World player is an asshole. Screw that guy.
I'm thankful for the demonstration of Ken & Gen but for the love of god stop playing with your f*&%ing food. Just about every single game just went on and on way past the point where you had already won. For instance, the first game against Labrynth, you had game at 1:50 (unless I'm really missing something) and then just flung cards about for a while and then let your opponent have another turn. Basically increased the length of the game by 50% for absolutely no reason.
You are missing something, my friend: That was the first turn of the duel, Lab is just playing at opponent's turn. Can't go for game turn 1. Hehe
