I understand to a point, however even if Mikayla told him YES 100x's, there is no contract. She isn't obligated to review his product and especially for free. I dislike Mikayla, but Matthew is trying to use her name for sales.

Idc if you’re a professional at this, if you weren’t there with her or don’t have direct proof she used a spray, it’s he said she said.

Look I'm not a fan of her, but she had no contract with him. She had her word but that isnt enough for someone to buy $10,000 worth of product. I get where he is upset but that was kind of his bad. He made an investment based upon a lie that Mikayla told him, but hopefully this drama has allowed him to recoup his investment.
I've seen a ton of people saying that they have ordered or are going to order Matthew's self-tanner as a result of this situation.
It wasn't the wisest business decision to take the loan and invest in stock based upon the anticipation of a review, but all indy businesses exist because their creators took a gamble. I sincerely hope that Matthew's gamble pays off and he makes a ton of sales, despite being lied to by Mikayla.
Frankly, I don't trust a word Mikayla says about any product, because she is fundamentally dishonest (starting with the fake accent) and because she's been caught lying so many times before.
There's nothing wrong with being a commercial actress or a paid spokesperson, but at least own up to it.

As much as I dont care for Mikaela, im gonna have to take her side on this one. Not only did he try and get sympathy from his audience by shaking his med pills which I found disgusting, he decided to create this whole controversy on Mikaelas expense so that his business would boom. It worked, and he is smart for it, but he is an opportunist just like Mikaela. He is a hypocrite. Mikaela owes him nothing, she probably felt pressured and didn’t even wanna review the tan in the first place and he kept pushing her into a wall and she tried to avoid it. The thing is that #mikaylanogueria did say she would do it the next day so yes he did order it maybe prematurely but he did it based on the what SHE said and she previously said "indie brand's can't handle influencers promoting them" so, 1+2=3, she said she would do it "tomorrow" and he went based on that. IF she would have said, "ill let u know WHEN I can" then he would have had the chance to wait on getting the loan.

The only part that’s really the point is no Mathew should not have taken out that loan , that was on him BUT the point of it all is SHE made a specific video addressing how indie brands can’t keep up with. (Mathew listened ) then SHE says SHE will review it , Mathew remembers her video and did what he thought was the smart thing to do. The problem was NO CONTRACT. But a VERBAL agreement is a contract essentially she did him dirty. She just didn’t care enough to follow through. Well all in all he got more advertising than he would have gotten from a Mickey that might not have even done that well . Everyone knows his name now
